Canan's Kitchen is an absolute gem for anyone craving a taste of authentic Turkish cuisine! From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with warm hospitality and an aroma that instantly transports you to the bustling streets of Istanbul.

The Turkish breakfast spread at Canan's is a culinary masterpiece. From the savory cheeses and olives to the fresh-baked bread and flavorful pastries, every bite is a delightful journey for the taste buds. The highlight for me was the rich and creamy menemen, perfectly seasoned with tomatoes, peppers, and just the right amount of spice.

But the excellence doesn't stop at breakfast. Canan's offers a diverse menu that showcases the depth and richness of Turkish gastronomy. Whether you're indulging in the succulent kebabs, savoring the fragrant rice pilaf, or delighting in the array of mezes, each dish is prepared with meticulous care and bursting with authentic flavors.

What truly sets Canan's Kitchen apart is not just the exceptional food, but also the warmth and passion of the staff. Canan herself is a gracious host, ensuring that every guest feels like family. The attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction are evident in every aspect of the dining experience.

If you're in search of a culinary journey through Turkey without leaving your hometown, look no further than Canan's Kitchen. This hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates delicious food, genuine hospitality, and the magic of Turkish cuisine. Five stars simply aren't enough to capture the excellence of...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Canan’s Kitchen, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The menu featured a wide variety of Mediterranean-inspired breakfast dishes, and I decided to start off with a Simit, a traditional Turkish sesame bread ring. The Simit was fresh and perfectly baked, with a delightful crispy crust and a soft, chewy interior. It was a great way to whet my appetite for the main course. For my main dish, I opted for the Menemen, a traditional Turkish dish consisting of eggs scrambled with tomatoes, onions, and peppers. The flavors were absolutely incredible - the juicy tomatoes, savory onions, and mildly spicy peppers all came together in a perfectly balanced dish. The eggs were cooked just right, with a fluffy texture that paired well with the vegetables. In addition to the delicious food, the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and making sure that everything was just right. And to top it all off, the prices were quite reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality of food and service. Overall, I highly recommend this Canan’Kitchen to anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience. Whether you're in the mood for a classic Turkish breakfast with Menemen and Simit or want to try something new, this place is definitely...

Hidden gem in a plaza, Canaan’s kitchen was definitely a great experience overall. It started with a phone call, I wanted to make sure there was no wait since we had a busy Sunday ahead of us. The gentleman on the phone said he could hold the table for us since we were going to be there in 6 mins. As we got there, we were greeted and shown the menu. You order in the front and then go to your table and lay at the end at the front as well. I felt a little rushed as I wasn’t expecting to order right away. Everything we ordered was delicious, mushroom omelette was great, fresh with a side salad, low sodium, great taste. My husband had the avocado toast and the cherry tomatoes and some kind of olive oil dressing gave it a refreshing tweak to your traditional American avocado toast. Iced caramel latte was strong (which is good) and the peach tea that U got, was so refreshing! Got a Nutella crepe with strawberries and I wish I would’ve added bananas because I felt like it would’ve been a good combo! We were given 4 Turkish delights 2 pistachios and 2 pomegranate, and there were so good, I’m not sure what the ingredients are but it tasted like a macaron filling, they were delicious! We had an amazing overall experience! I wish the place was a little more ventilated but other than that, service was great and lots of parking in the plaza which is a plus! I hope we...

I had a craving for a Turkish-style breakfast and stumbled upon a charming place in Fountain Valley, CA, called Canan’s Kitchen & Bakery. The image you see captures Canan and her family, the proud owners of this small business. Intrigued, I delved into the reviews and was moved by how many patrons likened their experience to being in Turkey. The moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the thoughtful design of the place and the beautifully set tables. However, what truly stood out was Canan’s warm hospitality. Her customer service was exceptional—friendly, kind, and genuine. Every aspect of our experience was delightful; the tea and coffee were exquisite, and the bread, simply put, was delicious. It was an experience that left me feeling not just satisfied but also deeply appreciative of the care and dedication that Canan and her family put into their business. A little history of Turkish-style breakfast is renowned for its variety and deliciousness, rooted in centuries-old traditions. Featuring cheeses, olives, fresh bread, honey, and eggs, it offers a delightful mix of flavors and textures. The emphasis on communal dining and quality, locally sourced ingredients adds to its appeal, making it a cherished cultural experience.
