Del Taco — Restaurant in Fountain Valley

It probably only deserves one star but I gave it to because there was two workers only there and I guess they had a really tough job to keep up with everything when I pulled in there was a couple of cars in line ahead of me one that was at the speaker and one sitting to the right of us to get in. it was about 10 minutes before they took that person's order the car in front of me just took off the car to the right of me left a little bit after that which got me up to the speaker quicker but that didn't help because it still took another seven minutes before they took my order once in line if I took another 15 minutes before I can get up to the window I feel sorry for the workers because that's pretty heavy to have two people doing all the work don't know what happened somebody called out sick or management just dropped the ball but that's pretty unacceptable in most places to have to wait so long to get your stuff I told the guy I felt sorry for him and he was very friendly and I'm sure it's going to be a tough night for them I did talk to One customer and he said that it normally is not like that so I don't want to judge too harshly but it...

For some reason whenever im hungry no matter what time of day or night, I seem to gravitate to this place. I dont k ow what it is. Deal taco just wont get out of my head. Maybe its the value or the quality of the food or if your in a rush they are fast ot maybe because the drive through is open 24/7 so i know they will always be there for my cravings. Oh ya. Thank god for carnitas but after eating it every day I got bored and I noticed there was not a spicy jack carnitas quesadilla on the menu simi requested on amd thr sweet girl working drive through about 10:30 7/14 Friday night said Mo problem well order the steak quesadilla amd substitute the steak with carnitas because that would cost less than a substitution on chicken quesadilla. That was really cool for her to save me a buck too. I wish I knew her name so I could thank her but I guess I'll just do it in person since it looks like I'll be going back for round 2 very soon. Stopped here for lunch and was completely surprised by the guy at the counter. He was A1 in customer service, which is something non existent these days especially from a 19 yr old. I had to ask if he was a manager which he replied no. He was polite, super attentive always finding something to do, cleaning tables, picking up trays taking both counter and drive up orders, took time to ask customers if they needed anything. I'm in construction so I eat out n a daily basis and it has been years since I've seen this kind of service. So with that said I think you people at administration should utilize this young man's skills to teach your employees from all stores how customer service actually works. By the way his name was Eric and I did call in to corporate to say basically the same thing in hopes of you acknowledging his great service. I will be stopping in there again soon to see if he was approached by corporate and maybe even offer him a job at a friend's computer business. Keep up the...
