First visit and was happy, at first, the "Pho" was great. BUT, to me it is not only about the food, it is also about the services and most importantly the sanitation. Overall, is clean in the front, not sure about the back. However, a major problem for me was how the waiters/waitresses handled our food. They wear gloves, but I think for their own protection, NOT much for the customers. We noticed the waiter/waitress wore the same gloves the entire time we were dining in, and the worst was that they picked up things dropped on the floors, gloves touched the floors, and then went right back to carry our food bowl/plate with that same dirty gloves! I hope the owner(s) see this feedback and retrain their servers how to always keep their hands/or gloves sanitary by either washing hands or changing gloves immediately after touching anything dirty like cleaning rags or picking up things from the floor, before touching the customers' bowls of food. Until I know they do this, I can not return because I don't want to get sick. I hope everyone at the restaurant takes this matter seriously for the sake of public...
Read moreWe ordered a pho soup, spring rolls, rib eye shrimp platter, strawberry lemonade, and ocean lemonade. Overall, the food was regular — not particularly good, not terrible either. Maybe for people in the area it tastes great, but as a Peruvian, coming from the country with the best gastronomy in the world (chosen for 10 consecutive years as the world’s leading culinary destination, and home of the world champion breakfast with pan con chicharrón), the quality felt a bit low to me.
The platter was the best dish, tasty and acceptable, though not outstanding. The lemonades were refreshing and flavorful, but they came with way too much ice, which really cut down on the actual drink.
Service was mixed: the waitress seemed a bit upset and not so friendly (my perception, maybe I’m wrong), while the male waiter — the chubby Asian guy — was genuinely kind, attentive, and very helpful. Give that man a raise.
The place itself is average. Prices are a little high for what they offer, but that’s just my personal opinion. I wouldn’t go back on my own, but I wouldn’t mind giving it a second chance if...
Read moreFood was fresh and tasty. However, service was lacking. One server forgot to enter our drinks so our food came out, but the drinks never did. When we informed the server that we were still missing our drinks she returned and said, "Sorry you never got your drinks it got "lost" in the system." Essentially she never entered the drink orders and did not want to admit she made a mistake and blamed it on their system.
I would recommend the hainanese chicken and rice. The rice was very flavorful and the chicken was extremely tender. They give you 3 dipping sauces. The three sauces are: 1) diced green onions with salt and oil, 2) diced ginger and chili pepper with fish sauce, and 3) soy sauce. Egg rolls here are really good too. They also had coffee that was made just like a macchiato from Starbucks which was not too sweet.
Overall I would consider coming back. Food was served very quickly and the atmosphere here is nice minus...
