Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Fountain Valley

This used to be my favorite Ross due to the organization and the friendly employees. Yesterday I purchased a shower rod and while I was purchasing I was being rushed and the employee kept on saying “Next”, which I understand due to the holidays. I then had my receipt checked by a security which I’ve never had that happened in a Ross and when I got home I realized I did not get my shower rod which I purchased. Then I called and was told my item was not there but I could come by and they can check my receipt. I went to the store again and they said they would check footage and she said that I walked out with it. I would’ve felt more comfortable if they allowed me to go see it. But I understand there are certain rules. Anyways it was a big item so I know I would’ve seen it in my car. I then went home , checked everywhere and still cannot find that item. I am pretty sure one of the employees lied to me and put it back on the shelf to sell it again. When I used to work at retail I was told to put the items in a lost and found or in a separate area so when the customer comes back for it we would have it in a safe place. I just felt like I was let down and was not cared for but what else can you expect from a Ross. This Ross used to not be like this but it’s probably under a different management or something because these passed few times I’ve gone the employees are rude and don’t give good customer service. I will not be returning to this...

I love this Ross in Fountain Valley. No matter what department I end up in, there's always new and interesting product. The store is always clean and organized. I went to another Ross over the weekend in Santa Ana off Tustin Avenue; I have never never seen such chaos with the stores merchandise. I was looking for small tables to put decor on, the 2 identical tables were both broke at the bottom. The store looked like a hurricane hit it. I believe children run amuck, while the parents shop. I think their rules should be in place. The second your kid runs in the store, your shopping is over. Unfortunately, they may end up with an empty store. I'm sure the store associates do what they can, the people that work there are...

Worse customer service went in to make a return and lined up in the exchange and return line there was the other line for purchases but there was no customers I was not being aknowledge to atleast someone saying "Someone will be right with you" there was like 3 cashiers 2 of them doing nothing and still not being aknowledge so I had to walk to one them and respectfully ask if I was going to be helped because I was waiting for quite some time, and one of those cashiers rolled there eyes at me almost as if she was saying that I was acting entitled but yea that was my experience at the fountain valley ROSS do not recommened theres hardly anything nice, its like the bootleg version of ROSS! Just saying...
