Dear Inclusions Bakery Team,
I am writing to express our deep disappointment with the cakes we received for our recent birthday celebration. We placed an order for two cakes, providing clear and detailed instructions regarding the colors and flavors for each one. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations.
First, the cake flavors were completely mixed up. The lavender-colored cake, which was supposed to be the confetti flavor, was made as a strawberry cake instead. This was not only incorrect but also extremely concerning, as the little girl whose name was on that cake is allergic to strawberries. You can imagine her disappointment and our alarm when she cut into her cake to find strawberries inside. This mistake completely defeated the purpose of ordering two separate cakes with specific instructions.
To make matters worse, the second cakeâwhich was supposed to be strawberryâdid not taste like strawberry at all. Instead, it had a strong cinnamon or spice flavor and was excessively soggy from an overwhelming amount of filling. It appeared that far too much filling was poured into the center rather than being evenly layered, resulting in an unpleasant texture and taste.
Overall, both cakes were a major letdown. To add to the concern, the person who placed the order is a cake baker manager, and even she was shocked by the poor quality and lack of attention to detail. For a bakery with a reputation for quality, this experience was incredibly disappointing.
We hope you will take this feedback seriously and address these quality control issues to ensure this does not happen to other customers...
Read moreThis was a disappointment. I stumbled upon this place after visiting the dog store next to it. When I tried my cupcake and crumb cake later that night I was shocked at how hard, gummy and flavorless the cake was. It wasnât until I looked on google after trying my treats and reading reviews that I realized this is a gluten free ONLY bakery. There was no signage in the store stating this nor did the staff member mention it and had I known, I likely wouldnât have purchased anything as I am not typically a fan of gluten free items.
With that said the store is nice and clean with TONS of bakery options including soups, savory pastries and some unbaked goods to bring home and bake yourself. The frosting on the cupcake I had was delicious and the staff member I talked to was very friendly...
Read moreThis is an awesome spot for celiacs that must eat gluten free. Every thing in there is and they bake everything on premise to stop cross contamination. We went in there a couple of days ago and they were super nice and helpful, they were super patient as we looked at everything they had while still baking in the background which was great to see. My Celiac wife was delighted with the cupcakes and savoury items she got. I also got a chocolate slice there with a coffee with it and was happy even though I only eat GF sometimes. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. The super friendly staff even gave us recommendations for some other Celiac friendly spots.
They also have...
