Catered our July 2020 wedding, and.... HANDS DOWN KILLED IT!!!! From planning, to prep, to execution, and follow up - it was FLAWLESS!!!
When we started planning our wedding, I remember us saying- 'oh wedding food never turns out good anyway', so we won’t stress about it….. HOW WRONG WERE WE!!! This food was unbelievable! I still dream about having another wedding or event of any kind just so that I can eat their food again. The presentation was an 11/10! The staff was a 12/10! And the taste was off the charts!! All this during COVID where they were forced to implement all kinds of restrictions and safety protocol- and they still made it look and feel amazing!!!! I was blown away.
And working with them was great! They were such great vendors! Billy and Elizabeth were amazing vendors- loved them! They had such good ideas, and worked with any and everything we wanted. They were fun and super flexible no-nonsense folks to work with. I loved that they had the small town vibe (being local to steamboat), but still operated like a big city operation - timely, professional and HIGH CLASS!

Read moreFood poisoning, TWICE! Yes, we tracked the meals, compared with friends and family as to when and where else we ate. Meat and Seafood was the only possibility, twice! Two different sandwiches, two different times. We thought we’d give them the benefit of the doubt, as they’re about the only game in town. Big mistake! We left them two voicemails about it, to let them know. We’ve not received a return call. Since the owner thinks “food poisoning takes a long time”, it was the day after the first time, and three days after the second time. To be clear, we’ve called the shop, and not had our calls returned. We’ve checked with all friends and family who ate with us the same day and two days after eating at Meat and Seafood. Apparently now they won't make you a fresh hoagie? I've been eating and shopping here for 10 years and this week, middle of the day, they refused to make a fresh Billy's italian hoagie for me and instead pushed an old pre-made grab n go in my face (and at the new, uh, $14 price point). No thanks dudes, good luck with that. Hopefully they get back to making sandwiches to order again soon, until then adios, I'm going to Cruisers....
