When I came in with a party of 4 people, the staff were wearing masks. One lady was talking to my group and I told her I needed to lip read to understand her. She rather brushed me away or was uncomfortable to even talk to me like we were nothing. I wasn’t pleased and desperate to find out what was going on. Thankfully one person in my group told me about the four artists together were painting and their art was in that museum today.
I figured, I gotta try. I went to front desk and said I’d like to talk to someone but I need to lip read. Another lady, Dottie, volunteered to take her mask down just to give me quality service. I asked questions and she gave me a wonderful review about the art and how they created it due to length of time, time of day, value, etc.
