Pizza Edge — Restaurant in Four Corners States

I’m a bit late posting this but none the less here ya go. Date of visit 11/20.This is for the owner/manager/supervisor etc. This was my sons, my daughter and my first time ever trying this place out, and I must say it exceeded expectations. My wife grew up enjoying the Pizza Edge on many occasions. I’m very observant when trying a new place out. Upon arrival we looked over the menu and noticed the chairs were put aside for cleaning. We asked a team member if we could sit at a table in the front and he gladly agreed, provided chairs and stated he just moved the chairs to clean the floor and we can sit where we like. I took note of the great attitude, housekeeping practices, courtesy and accommodation to customers. (The place was very clean) I approached the counter. I let the cashier know it was my first time trying the place out and she was very patient with me and offered recommendations and what she liked. Another team member approached and gave her input to what other options they had. From there they were both very knowledgeable of the menu and items available. I had a lot of questions and they handled it with perfection and I took note of their sense of pride with service. Meanwhile the drive thru was boomin, but nonetheless that didn’t slow them down or make me feel rushed. They had it covered and took the time to make a make new customer feel really welcomed. I appreciated that. What we ordered: Lrg 1-top(pepperoni) w/ 2 orders of breadsticks; 2 banana splits, one scoop ice cream cone, beverage. The two cashiers also explained I can customize the split how I wanted and explained the options with that. The banana split was very good, my toddler got a Superman cone but wasn’t fond of that flavor and big bro handled the rest after that. We waited about 20mins for our order. Now when it arrived, let me tell you, it was fresh! It was hot but man was it fresh and presentation was delivered. Breadsticks were soft and baked to perfection, the sauce it came with was served hot and was very good. The whole time I also noticed how they all work very well together. The cashier that helped us directed and delegated pre-closing duties effectively to another team member. He took direction and applied it as it was given. In the back the team work smoothly to get the place in great shape to close and prepare for the next day. We came within an hour of their closing time. The drive thru was handled very well and they provided prompt attention to the customers coming thru there. They worked as a team to make sure their customers got fast service & fresh orders. My boys loved pizza and my oldest son made a comment which he also shared with them upon our departure. He told them “you know how Pizza Hut says; ‘Nobody can out-pizza the hut’… well ya’ll just pizza out pizza’d them!” And he was not wrong at all. I had to chime in & got all their attention, I let the whole team how much of a EXCELLENT JOB THEY WERE DOIN! How superb their service was and how I noticed everything they did and that is just how a team in food n hospitality is suppose to run a business. To the owner keep that team happy! Show them your appreciation for their HARD WORK & DEDICATION to not only the restaurant, job/position but to the customers and YOU the owner. Your team knew what it meant to make the customer feel valued and so it is only right that I the customer let them all know that they too are valued and appreciated. I would love to have a team with such a positive upbeat attitude like them run my kitchen and front service! The attention to detail, hospitality service and ability to superbly work in team setting and carry out duties on a top tier level deserves a BIG Kudos, Gratitude and job well done! You have gained a loyal Pizza Edge customer who will always stop in to this store every time we travel thru Tuba City. Pizza and service were amazing, but the best was yet to come. We drove through from Oregon on a family road trip. After eating and getting back on the road I realized my phone was missing and tracked it back to the restaurant. I was 3 hours away and we were on a time crunch to make all our stops. I reached out to the assistant manager who was super helpful and called her manager. He personally called me and was literally the nicest guy ever, he ended up shipping my phone in the mail for me to my house. It actually made it home before i did. Stop in every time I am exploring the area...stopped in again last October 2019, (sorry so late for the review)....great pizza, and this is coming from an east coast guy!

Update: December 2021…. Was in the TC area, and enjoyed lunch twice…both times were amazing! Due to covid protocol, I Ordered online, and picked up in the drive through 15min later…. easy and fast! Will keep returning!

Update: October 2022… Return visit, as I was in TC for the day….again a home run…quick online ordering, pickup at the window….amazing Pizza and service, as well as price and value!
