Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Tuba City

As a lifelong fan of Sonic the Hedgehog, I was absolutely outraged by my experience at the Sonic Drive-In. The new version of the game played at the restaurant included sand, a feature that was not present in the original game that I grew up with. They ruined my childhood memories with this misguided decision.

To make matters worse, the presence of sand in the restaurant itself was a complete and utter insult. Sonic was supposed to be about speed and fun, not sand-filled misery. I was left feeling betrayed and frustrated by this unsonic decision.

As a true Sonic fanatic, I cannot recommend the Sonic Drive-In to anyone who loves the classic game. They have destroyed the Sonic experience and it's time for them to make things right. The addition of sand in both the game and restaurant made for an infuriating and unpleasant experience....

Thank Father for stopping here! He almost turned around as my brother, the tuba guru, had thrown a fit because he needed that cheeseburger on our road trip back to the Garden. Thankfully, my brother, being the Tuba Guru himself, thought quick to reach in his back pocket and whip out his tuba to play for the Tuba City Sonic Drive-In! The whole parking lot came together like that of a Dr. Seuss book! The servers were doing tricks on their skates, the customers were in the beds of their pickups looking up to the Tuba Gods. Fyi...not all stalls work! After a hot day of running errands I pulled into stall 15 to order a drink to cool off. Pushed the red button and waited to place my order. At first I thought they were busy but then realized the vehicle that pulled in the next stall over placing their order. So I drove around the drive thru, placed my order then told Janell (carhop) about my experience with stall 15. Without apologizing she told me stall 15 didn't work. I kindly suggested a signage would be nice so customers are not waiting and she quickly replied "we're not allowed to put up out of order signs". My one star is for the strawberry...
