Tuuvi Cafe — Restaurant in Four Corners States

It's such a shame. This little slice of heaven had to change ownership. It used to be the only place in the area worthy of a stop. Since the new regime has taken over the items no longer served are simply blacked out with a magic marker. Very tacky, a simple sheet of paper would do better. Gone are the friendly faces and replaced by ones that refuse to offer decent service. Showed up close to closing, cheese wasn't melted on burger, upon its return the fries were cold, and the waitress heard remark about cold fries, but refused to acknowledge. There are now rules visible to the public that employees must abide by. Which make for a draconian atmosphere. The specials board, once reserved for unique dishes, is splattered with over 15 offerings. I was only able to get by the first three before tiring from the poor penmanship. This place is very unassuming from the outside as it's attached to a travel center, but absolutely worth the stop! The other reviews convinced us to stop here as we were passing through from the Grand Canyon. I got the BHT and a boba and they lasted me two meals! (kid portions are available) My friend had a cheeseburger that was dripping with awesomeness and grilled onions. I didn't grab a picture of the boba smoothie, but taro was my pick and the presentation was spot on. Portions are no joke and on top of that, the staff are genuinely super friendly. ...Negative reviews are so fun to write, and delicious to read, however, sadly, even a serious food critic must pry themselves from the tastful bashing, and acknowledge every now and then...something tasty, something new, yet, your soul wishes for more, like a grandmothers hug, or a grandfather's handshake...or moms bread...these moments we live for...Tuvvi's treats, and most importantly, their dedicated chicken, harmony of balanced beef, to dry, salty, want more, and more fries...if you stop here, there is more on the menu...They for now, have the best tasting...
