Wow what a restaurant! From the beginning we could tell they were busy but still decided to stay. We were greeted by a very nice hostess and was told it would be a 20 minute wait, not bad for a Friday night so we said okay and waited. What turned out to be a great seat turned into a nightmare after that. Our server was nowhere to be found and after I overheard a table saying they haven’t got service yet I decided to go inside to grab someone. Someone then finally came over. At this point we already downed a basket of chips and just now getting drinks. He made a great attempt to save us with interacting with our son. But then it went back down hill. We ordered queso to start and that came out rather fast, so we ask for more chips because we were down to crumbles. Well, the chips finally came after the cheese got cold. I didn’t say anything. I just ignored that and then we ordered chicken fajitas. A short time after rather quickly our food came out but he never brought a plate to prepare my fajitas on. I was sharing a dish with my wife, never brought her a plate, nor did they bring the tortillas out. So I had to get back up go inside and ask for the tortillas. Then we had no silverware so had to wait for that as well. Keep in mind our server never came back out to refill the drinks nor check back in with us. So after the dinner, I was ready to go after the whole experience I had no appetite and was frustrated. I went inside to get my check and explain my frustration to the managers, which I never got an apology whatsoever. Now, all that being said, I gave a two star rating to this restaurant. No matter how good the food is, the service has to be better. Customer service is what I go back for and great food of course. I think our server needed a little bit of training and he might have been a good server down the road, this falls on management. And maybe if the manager would not worry about making a video for Facebook of how busy he was and instead walked around and touched tables, thanked people for coming in, etc. it might have been a better experience.

Bad service, unhappy employees, tasteless. We walk in and it took us a minute to get ahold with the ‘host’. We decided to sit outside because it seemed there were not too many people like in the inside, so we assumed we will get better service and more privacy than inside. Our main craving was a pitcher of margarita. We got the house pitcher of margarita thinking it was just a regular pitcher, but ended up being the dispenser showed up in the pictures (not complaining about it, the more the merrier. Price was $25). Regular margarita but very, very strong. Around 8 margaritas total? Server couldn’t understand what I was trying to order, which originally was enchiladas with ‘carnitas’ or steak, and I got frustrated because of how the server was rushing to take the order so I ended up with nachos with steak and no peppers, which was a last minute decision to share with the person I was with. It wasn’t very good. Like eating chips with queso blanco on top, chewy steak and a couple of pieces of tomatoes. I ate it just because I couldn’t order anything else and I was getting a buzz from the margaritas. The person I was with ordered chimichanga, not fried, with grounded beef. He seemed to like it because of how hungry he was. Tried to order something else too, but server didn’t show up to our table not even for water refills. We also tried churros with cream for dessert, it came with ice-cream too. They were okay, just too much cinnamon and sugar on top. Very sweet. Customer service was awful. Server was rushing everywhere because he was supposed to be the only server for the night and they didn’t expect to get busy, said the manager? Nobody showed up to our table after taking our order in the first place. We waited over 20 minutes for the bill and another few to get the card back. We could’ve walk out without paying and I believe they wouldn’t have notice until they look for the bill or try to clean our table. I don’t think i’m ever coming back to this place again.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Sr. Tequila Mexican Grill! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant, inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with colorful touches and a lively, yet relaxed vibe that’s perfect for families, friends, or even a casual date night. The menu is impressive, offering a wide range of traditional Mexican dishes, as well as some unique specialties. Whether you’re craving seafood, tacos, enchiladas, or vegetarian options, there’s truly something for everyone. We especially enjoyed the Camarones al Mojo de Ajo, which were cooked to perfection and bursting with garlicky flavor. The veggie fajitas were another standout, fresh, sizzling, and packed with perfectly grilled vegetables. We also appreciated how family-friendly the menu is. There are plenty of options for children, making it easy for families to find something for even the pickiest eaters. The service was excellent, prompt, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Our server made sure we had everything we needed and checked in often without being intrusive. Overall, Sr. Tequila Mexican Grill offers a delicious, enjoyable dining experience with great food, attentive service, and a warm, festive atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine in a welcoming setting!

As much as I would love to give this place 5 stars, I cannot ethically do so. Their food is fantastic. It tastes great. However, service just keeps getting worse AND it turns out they were shut down for safety/cleanliness concerns. Anyway, back to the service. If you eat there in person, service is okay. However, it’s specifically when you order for delivery that that are completely stingy and alway, and I mean ALWAYS, “forget” part of your order. When you order queso or bean dip, they don’t include chips unless you specifically ask for them. What do they think I want the dip for if not chips? But if you eat in person, you automatically get chips. They should give all customers the same service whether it is in person or delivery. They give you about a cup worth of chips with delivery and won’t include salsa unless you ask for it (yet don’t include it on their delivery menu). It’s not enough chips for the queso or bean dip. If you ask for more chips, they are incredibly stingy and will ignore your request. So I’m left paying $11 for one dip that I can’t even eat half of because I didn’t get enough chips. Also, they halved the sizes of their dips but are charging the same price as the previous, bigger size. What a rip off. And when you ask for salsa for delivery, they give you a small side cup, 1/3 of the way filled with salsa. They specifically do this so that if you request more than one side of salsa, they can charge you an additional $5 for a 1/3 full small side cup of salsa! This didn’t used to be the case. They have continuously become worse and worse and more stingy and greedy. What happened to the restaurant that I used to love going to with my family? The one that used to be get eat with delivery orders? I want that restaurant back. But once I heard that they were shut down temporarily for cleanliness and safety concerns, that was the final straw. I haven’t eaten here in months and do not plan to eat here again unless they go back to the way they used to be with great service for both in person and delivery customers. Their food is great, but sadly not worth the service. There are many other Mexican restaurants in the Clermont-Orlando area - try one of...

3 meals made incorrectly after asking 3 times still no replacements no silverware no plates. Had to ask for salt 3 times. 30 min later children falling asleep hungry..... queso was like white velveta cheese lumpy. No refils on children drink or water. Mgr so incompetent won't deal with customer. Called police on a 66 yr old grandmother and 13 and 6 year old who fell asleep with no food. Also tried to double bill item. A definite no for pleasurable evening. Rude and hostile.

Reply to mgt. Unfortunately, your accusations are incorrect. You never even got involved in anything because you are not management material. You made your waiter come and settle on his own. He said you refused to come speak to me. He admitted to us that the new cook made an error. And when we initally ordered we asked if what i ordered was okay. He said yes. My grandchildren did not enjoy the cheese dip, It was all that they had and they were hungry. My conversation with the supervisor was plesent and revealing. During our conversation she apologized for the behavior and is going to be paying a visit to the management or staff owner of your establishment. And yes, I have the receipts of how you tried to double bill. In speaking to the supervisor she wants those copies and I am gladly going to oblige by sending her those copies of the receipts. In regards to the couple that we were with, you actually wrote personal in ink Or your staff did thank you showing that they were not disrespectful. And in fact, the body cams, and the additional police officers that were there also agreed that we were not disrespectful. We were not rude. It's all on their body cams. We've been apologized to by the sherrif department. It's a shame you just couldn't even tell the truth, tells your true integrity , your lack of professionalism and business ownership. The one child fell asleep before you brought correct food for any of us to eat. It's not the police it was the sheriff department sorry you were unable to comprehend who you called. The one child fell asleep because no food was brought to them waiting and waiting on service...
