If no stars were an option I would leave that. Went to this location to pick up a game I had held online. The only way I had to pay was with change. I know it's annoying and everyone hates taking change. I however did all the work of bagging it up in ten dollar amounts and separated the coins for the employee. Went in with all the intentions of spending the 70 dollars worth of change and ended up leaving with nothing. The employee working decided he didn't want to take my change. Told me he wasn't allowed to take over a certain threshold of change because he had no way of taking it to the bank or storing it. I even jokingly walked in and told him he'd end up hating me because of the change. Through courses of conversation he ended up saying he'd go ahead and take it if I rolled it up for him. He proceeded to hand me rolls. I told him its rude to ask a customer to roll change for him. After a few more minutes of back and forth he decided he would go ahead and just do it for me this one time like he was doing me a favor. While saying that he told me it was a loss prevention issue to why they couldn't take that much change. He also told me that I had come at him with an angry face and just looked mad and that's why he didn't want to help me.

Based off of this whole experience I can't recommend this store at all. I know that a customer bringing in change is the most annoying and frustrating thing ever. However sometimes it's all they have on them until the next pay day. Or it's so they can get something they're really looking forward to playing. It isn't ideal no but it's rude and disrespectful to deny them service. Even if he had taken the change and just given me grief I probably would've been ok because I knew what I was doing but that never happened.

Instead of this store just drive to the one off highway 50 and see Joshua...

I JUST GOT SCAMMED!!!! I come to this GameStop all the time for the Funko pops specially. I had bought TWO aot Funko pops. The guy named jayden helped me…he was friendly at first…. According to my boyfriend who was next to me, jayden asked if I wanted to be parts of some reward program and I zoned out for a bit so didn’t hear what jayden said so I just agreed. (I thought he was signing me up for emails and random giveaways) He signed me up and took my info. Once I was ready to pay for TWO Funko pops, my total came out to $60 for 2 so I asked him “It’s $60 for the HANGE Funko pop and LEVI Funko pop????” Jayden said “yes.” desperate for the Funkos I payed. Then I came up to my boyfriend showed him the recipe and asked why it was $60. He said because I payed $25 for some reward program….JAYDEN WHEN DID U TELL ME YOU WERE SIGNING ME UP FOR A REWARDS PROGRAM THAT WAS $25 extra????😂 I then went back up to jayden and told him I didn’t want or even know that I had to pay $25 for some rewards program. Sadly, the pandemic has hit this store really hard. Mostly everything on the shelves are only for display. They barely have any actual product anymore. Not their fault, it’s just a sign of the times.

However my complaint is about the current staff. It’s sad because I used to have great friends who ran this store but have since moved on to other ventures. Now all I see is one guy who always looks stressed or disgruntled. The way he talks to me is often very rude, as if he wants me to just leave. I don’t feel welcomed. No hello, no welcome, not even a goodbye.

I grabbed a box of Joycons for my wife, and before I even got to the counter he quickly snapped at me before I got a chance to speak. “No!! We don’t have any of those. All sold out.”

I’m frankly sorry for the situation he is in. It’s a dying store and he seems to be trying to keep the ship together. The company’s circumstances aren’t his fault. But if he was just a tad nicer, maybe the store would at least have the life that it used to before it dies for good.

I give the store until the end of the year...
