Edit: I should have done this edit years ago. I originally gave it 2 stars but have bumped it to 4. The restaurant improved significantly. Great food, good music and good service. Now this is one of my favorite places to eat. The ACC Texano and the Green enchiladas are the best around!
Old review 6 years ago: I have been here about 3 to 4 times to eat since it opened. The staff is polite but needs more training. The food is really good and price is fair. My main complaint and the reason for the 2 stars is because of the Television in the restaurant. Apparently they set it to play Spanish music videos from youtube so every time I have been in there there have been half naked women in very risque scenes. EVERY TIME! I have been there with my children who got very uncomfortable and we had to switch seats so their backs were to the TV. The last time this happened I was getting an order to go on a Sunday. It was pretty full with the after church crowd and kids. Then here comes the worst video I have seen yet. Woman in a thong on the bed with a man who is slapping, squeezing and spreading her butt cheeks apart! What the heck?! Everyone started murmuring and then one of the waitresses ran up to another one and whispered in her ear. They both look at the screen and then run to the back. One of them comes back up front and finds the remote on the front counter. She changes the channel and I say to her in a polite tone, "thank you for changing that". "Well I don't control the TV" she sneers. I said "I know, didn't say that, I said thank you for changing it." Then the owner who has been standing at the counter with her back turned to the TV says to me, " Oh I could tell by all the people's expressions that it got bad again, it always does that since we just put it on youtube but when it gets real bad we change it." Uhhmmmm so you know it is a problem but you continue to put the freaking tv on youtube. Plus you saw peoples expressions (including mine) and you had the remote but didn't think to turn the channel? Also, doesn't youtube let you create a playlist you can control? Why not just turn the radio on and set the TV to a silent soccer game like the rest of the Mexican...

The waitress we had was beyond rude the entire time - we had to wait to order even though there were 5 waitresses there when we got there. My husband and mother in law order the grande burrito ($13.99) and I ordered the fajita burrito (9.99) - they brought 3 fajita burritos (I was the only one who got rice & beans) - we asked them to correct it - they insisted on inspecting the food - so we said just bring us the rice & beans and we will pay $9.99 for each - the ticket they brought us first was $49.16 - and then the “fixed” receipt was $48.06 - we had to argue to get them to “fix” our receipt. Our waitress rolled her eyes and said “this is all we can do” (pointing to the $49.16 receipt)
We will NOT be back even though my father-in-low & mother-in-law live right next to the restaurant and we live about 8 mins away.
I would NOT recommend this place - food was not good and the service has gotten so sorry - that girl should be ashamed of the way she treated us.
I have never been treated that way - and can’t believe how disrespectful she was. Like I said we will NOT be returning.
—— EDITED TO ADD ——
After receiving a response from the owner, I added two stars, for a three star review. My husband and I went up to the restaurant to get the refund we were offered by the owner after my post. He wasn’t there however he insisted on speaking to me through the waitress’s phone. We received our refund in full. He apologized profusely and said he made changes to his staff upfront.
That’s how you handle business. I genuinely appreciate that. He made it right. We may give them another chance and visit for dinner soon. But I wanted to give credit to the owner and show how much I appreciate him taking our poor experience so seriously and trying to make it...
Read moreI usually get my orders to go. My orders are always correct. The staff at this establishment are very courteous and professional. From what I've seen, while waiting, they attend their dine-in patrons very well. Overall service is very good. The restaurant itself is overall clean. The food looks and taste delicious. The plates I seen coming out of the kitchen look very presentable and delicious as well. My to go orders are always organized and packaged well. This place seems to be a favorite of many locals. Usually if you plan to get your order to go via in person it may take 15 to 20 minutes, that being said I'm fine with that because these orders are made to order and fresh. I am perfectly fine with that. If you are in a hurry I would suggest calling in your order. The atmosphere here is very nice and decorated with a cultural decor of mostly Hispanic colors and unique items. I love this place. Also they do serve alcohol here if you just need a beer to chill and unwind. Lunch time here is typically busy as well as dinner time. If you get a chance stop by and enjoy some of the awesome plates they have to offer. Great food, awesome staff and just a great place in general. If you get a chance also visit the Panaderia/ Bakery next door. Try the Flan, you will not be...
