I've got to say I am extremely underwhelmed by their customer service. I ordered 6 meals to go and after picking up my order and returning to the office I discovered they forgot one meal....of course it had to be my the meal for my boss. Now I get that mistakes happen, but it's what you do to correct the error that matters. I called to let them know they missed packing up a meal. While they offered to comp a free dessert, and to take the meal off the bill they would not have it delivered. So their error caused me to have to make another trip there to pick up a fresh meal (and complementary dessert) while my lunch sat on my desk getting cold and soggy. My med-well burger was not only cold, it was under cooked....I'd say more like somewhere between med-rare and med and soggy burger bun and cold soggy fries are not my thing. And, they forgot the gravy for the Country fried steak order. In my opinion, they did not rise to the occasion to ensure a satisfactory experience. They did the industry minimum standard. You would think with the COVID restrictions and loss of income all restaurants and retail have experienced, they would do more to ensure stellar customer service to keep customers coming back. I will be checking my credit card activity to see if they do indeed comp the lunch. Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning if it's worth giving them another shot.
UPDATE: Management reached out to me and apologized for the level of service that I experienced and asked for a chance to make it right. My conversations with Vern and Lonnie were very pleasant and they not only listened to my concerns, they went the extra mile to to provide great customer service with our lunch today. Both steaks way under cooked first time sent back my whole plate told waitress wanted my whole meal to come out together right. Same for my daughter. They recooked both our same exact stakes hers was tought now and mine was still Blue and brought me the same potato I sent back only now it's cold. Manager offered desert told waitress would rater have the credit for the price of the deserts. No discount at all no credit for the price of desert. Poor handling of food and kitchen and management. Very poor. we run a little BBQ and food truck back home and would never think about handing the very same peace of food back to the customer once they sent it back and we always make sure our customers are more than happy and fully satisfied in all areas if there's a problem. Cattleman Roadhouse I talked to some locals that's was there eating and they said they stopped long ago ordering the steak from you all because you could never get it right. If the locals won't order steak that says alot. Boo across the board you failed. Hope your poor choices of food/kitchen and customer etiquette for a $80.00 bill and not the best tip for the waitress cost you much more.    Read moreMy husband and I stopped in around 4:00 pm on Memorial Day, 2025. We werenât very hungry so we order two appetizers and our drinks. We were seated at a booth in the bar area which was fine. Our waiter took our drink orders and a bit later brought out rolls and drinks. Our rolls were cold and tasted like they had been over baked ! We pushed them aside and ask Our waiter for different, fresher rolls. He said okay. After about 15 mins he brought the rolls out. The rolls were hot and tasted better! We waited at least 15 or 20 minutes before our two appetizers were brought out by a woman from the kitchen. Our bacon cheese fries were also overcooked. The fries were crisp and the cheese was dried to the plate! Not good at all, our SW egg rolls were very good. So happy we ordered two separate appetizers!!!! I was low on ice tea so my husband got the waiterâs attention and ask for him to get us refills. The waiter took my glass and brought back my tea without any ice at all. We were so disappointed by this time that I actually spoke up and scolded him for bringing me warm tea without ice. I canât remember my exact words but believe I said, âmy goodness, why would you bring me a tea without ice?â He apologized, went back and came out with a fresh glass of ICED tea. We were terribly disappointed but in the end we did leave the waiter a little more than a 20% tip. We felt like he wasnât trained properly but put forth effort to serve us! I donât think we will be going back to Frankfort, Ky....
