Imagine stopping at Jersey Mike's Subs after having to go into work at the last minute on a Saturday. You pick up your sandwich and drive home happy to finally relax and eat……you’re not even half way through your sandwich when you notice a strand of hair peeping through your bitten sandwich.
With disappointment you call the store Jersey Mike's Subs and share that you have hair in your tuna sandwich only to have to tell every detail of your visit repeatedly before they address the hair in your sandwich. Finally you ask what they will offer for the inconvenience and the present the option of getting in your car and driving alllllllllllllllll the way back to said location for a replacement or getting a credit for a sandwich. You choose a credit and the young lady on the phone asks you for every detail of your sandwich. You oblige then you get to one detail she seems very confused by; “pepper relish” . Then she proceeds to insinuate that you didn’t come there because Jersey Mike’s doesn’t have pepper relish………ahhhhhh but they do 😂.
So on principle as soon as the call is over you google Jersey Mike’s Pepper Relish (see attached). So you call back and ask to speak to the manager when you discover that’s who you were speaking to allllll along. Believe her name was Faith. Ask her what does she call pepper relish…..walk her through the whole condiments selection all for her to say I don’t know and then finally settle on peppers. At this point you’re hungry and frustrated so you express your frustration of a manager not knowing the products available at her store to which she says “Have a good night” and proceeds to hang up on you.
Yeah that just happened to El and I’m angry for him.
Also should add we have still been coming here even though they’ve gotten orders wrong and slopped some...
Read moreThe customer service I received at 7:56pm this evening was subpar at best and this is very disheartening. I come here on the regular because the sandwiches are fresh and the service is pretty cool. When I walked in the young lady was by the door cleaning, she looked right at me, and immediately turned her head and didn’t even acknowledge me walking in, usually this wouldn’t be a problem, but every time that I’ve ever came in here they always greet the customer. Usually the employees are a bit older and service is great but tonight it seem like they had all high school students working and all of them were rude, except for the young man putting the condiments on my sub. The young man that happen to ask me what kind of bread I wanted and what kind of sub was so rude that he walked away and left the sandwich on the counter without telling the other guy anything and the sandwich was on the other side of a container, so the young man that was working the condiment station was looking around to figure out where the sandwich was, and he actually apologized to me and he smiled and asked me did I want it mikes way? Now that young man was very professional. Everyone else’s attitude was terrible towards me and the other customer who also happen to be a person of color and disabled…. I hate to feel like we were treated badly due to us being people of color but I’m in here enough to know that the older employees have better customer service, so for this to be my neighborhood Jersey, Mike’s I’m really upset at how I was treated because everyone should be treated the same. I’m a big believer in tipping when service is a (c) or better… F.Y.I. I went to the McDonald’s in the same parking lot and I actually received good service from them and insult to injury. They look like they were in high school as...
Read moreI do not recommend calling in your order if you want to get the right sandwich. Ordered a #13 Original Italian and requested mayo and very little oil and vinegar. What I got appears to be a ham sub with no mayo and heavy oil and vinegar resulting in a soggy sandwich. When I called the store I had only noticed the mix-up with the condiments...not that the whole sandwich was wrong. The response from the guy who answered the phone was "I wrote down what you said. You can come back if you want." Unfortunately, someone picked up my order for me and I did not have time to make the 30 minute round trip to get another sandwich. The other caveat is that you have to specifically tell them to take your bread from the cabinet and not one of the rolls laying in the pile on the counter, as well as requesting that they prepare your sandwich on the deli paper...not the bare counter. That is why I always have my sandwich prepared while I am there. Today was...
