It was a very pleasant experience! My girlfriend and I were there on a Tuesday evening (she'd made a reservation) and it was busy at the dinner hour but not obnoxiously so that it was hard to make conversation!! When my husband and I tried to go a few times the first year it was open the wait time was so long we didn't stay. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! My girlfriend had Chicken Picatta and I had Chicken Parmigian. They were accommodating in that I requested, instead of Marinara sauce, to have the Arbiatta (spicy) sauce! Yum, both dishes were delicious (my friends Risotto could have been a little moister) with nice sized portions!! I do believe they had a drink special which my friend chose but I had their only white Riesling which was very nice and a satisfying amount. Because it was a week day we could stay the evening and chat not having to worry we were keeping a customer waiting. At the end, as we were the last to leave, we chatted with one of the owners about his expansion dreams, a very personable gentleman!! Good luck!! I'm looking forward to bringing my family with me on my next visit although know if you go it's not the cheapest place in town but just remember the old adage, you get what you pay for. Oh yes, don't forget to call well ahead of your day and make a reservation or you may be one of those unlucky souls they have to turn away especially...
Read moreNot a good experience. After having worked for 21 days straight I was looking forward to date night with my wife. We were in on a Saturday night and seated at 5:10pm. She ordered the chicken parmesan and I had the breaded rib-eye special. Food was out within 20 minutes. She wasn't a huge fan of hers but said it was okay. My ribeye steak was overcooked and chewy. Our server had disappeared and so by the time I finished my two sides I finally was able to send it back. Waited another 15 minutes for the refire by which time my wife had finished eating. The second steak tasted bad and I again waited to send it back. I would have thought my server would have checked in with us but she didn't, again disappearing. The manager offered something else and I ordered something I thought would be quick, some ravioli. Another twenty minutes later I'm aggravated and just wanting to get out of there. It took so long that I just asked for it to go. I think the thing beyond the bad food and lack of service was the feeling that the manager really was just in a rush to get away from us so he could get on with his busy night. Let me be clear, no one was rude and they did apologize but I would have expected more of a gesture than taking my dinner off of the bill. Maybe this was a fluke but I don't feel like trying my luck there again. I've paid 1/3rd less at other restaurants and been...
Read moreAfter a 2 year wait, we finally were able to visit this restaurant. It was my birthday present from my husband. We were not able to go before because of COVID-19, or no reservations available. We called for reservations in the morning and were able to get a table for that evening. Upon arriving to the place, the parking lot was completely full, we had to park in the back of the building. Our waitress was very nice, she immediately brought water, and a bread basket to our table. We had the fried calamari ad an appetizer. It was okay, the breading was a bit too salty for me and too thick fir my husband. I ordered the chicken picatta, it was okay, I loved the green beans it came with. My husband ordered the Blackened Pork Chops with Cajun sauce. The Chops were soft and juicy, bur he did not like the sauce, I tried it and I loved it, ( I love spicy food), unfortunately for my husband, his green beans had a piece of metal from the metal scrub they used to scrub the pots. We notified the waitress. The manager immediately apologized and offered to not charge us for his dinner, we told him we would pay for it, so, instead they offered a free dessert for my birthday! Overall, we were happy with our food. We will visit again and perhaps try one of the pasta dishes, as I noticed, just about everyone...
