I have been going to this establishment for the past two years. Since, the Pandemic you have to order online. I ordered online maybe a month ago and things were fine. Today I ordered online and there was a problem. I went into the store to pick up my order. The woman was friendly in the beginning. She asked for my order number and I gave her the code I had been given when I ordered online. She went in the back and when she came back she said, I asked for your phone number. The way she spoke to me was very harsh. I said, I thought you wanted my code number. I gave her my phone number she goes in the back and then comes back out and says we didn’t get the order. I tried explaining to her that my card had been charged. She says to me I am busy. Okay, now my card has been charged and it says from this restaurant. I tried showing her where I had ordered online, she yelled at me and I had to tell her don’t yell at me. I had to let her know several times do not yell at me. I don’t care how busy you are or stressed you may be, there is a way to talk to people!! I have been going to this restaurant since they first opened and have had home delivery many times, and always excellent food. NOW you have to have a $15 min. for delivery, and have to order online as their phone is busied out. I had ordered the take out combo of mixed vegetables with shrimp, which was excellent, with a nice tasty brown sauce. Their shrimp is always fresh, large and tasty. I had them make the veg fried rice w/ brown rice, which I had noticed was a tad on the greasy side. I had also ordered the Mango Salad to make my $15 min. For this they charge $5.95 - 6 bucks, for a few leaves of iceberg lettuce turned with the rounded part up to give the illusion of being full.....I don't eat iceberg...some nice, but thin, slices of mango, with 2 small slivers of cucumber, 3 small triangles of tomato which doesn't even equal a full slice. Some skinny thinly julienned carrots, a few skinny slivers of green pepper, and all of 3 croutons. For 6 bucks! Which is why I gave 3 stars. I will never order THAT again! One of the best Chinese restaurants in Somerset. Great quality and taste. Order a shrimp dish and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how big the shrimp are! This is always a great sign of a good restaurant. The staff and owners are very nice. There’s a lot of options within a 1-mile radius. Wild Ginger is always on our top 3 options.

COVID and work-from-home changes have negatively impacted the eateries in the surrounding area. Many of these businesses relied on the vast number of offices for their lunch business.

Sadly, they’ve had to adjust their hours temporarily and only offer dinner service. Many times, we’re waiting eagerly to place our order as soon as they open. Please show them support and help keep these great restaurants...
