Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Franklin Township

I came in one day to order a sandwich and one of the staff members was inattentive. It felt like they wanted to rush me and they were already annoyed prior to me walking in. I asked for red wine vinegar and that worker DRENCHED my sandwich with it and honestly I don’t know how in good conscience someone could still offer that sandwich to anyone. Never should there be that much wine vinegar in a sandwich, it was spilling all out of the wrapping paper. My main issue was the way one of the staff members (that ruined my sandwich) treated the front cashier. It was absolutely disgusting. It seemed like the cashier was nervous and had trouble with the change since he was new which I understand, and he was very nice. The other staff member which I’m assuming is either the manager or team lead was very mean to him and it hurt me to see that. I had a bad feeling the rest of day and I told them not to worry about it and to keep the change. There are other Jersey Mike store around me so I’ll just go to those instead, I can’t support a business that runs so unmoderated...

Gave the food 5 stars only because it was still good, despite no one paying attention to the 'Special Instructions' box that clearly indicated cheese type replacements for both mine and my husband's subs. Provolone was/is the default cheese on their subs, which we don't want on the sandwiches that we ordered. If you can't use the 'Special Instructions' box to indicate another preference, how do you request it? Removed the Provolone from both our sandwiches, wasn't provided any options for an alternate cheese to be selected, so entered our cheese preferences in Special Instructions. End result - no cheese was added to either sandwich. This is why I don't like tipping before I pick up my order, I'm supposed to assume good food and good service when considering a tip amount. Suggestion - upgrade your app to include an 'ala carte menu' , for individuals that don't want all of the ingredients in your cookie cutter subs. 1/23:2024: Why isn’t the owner of this franchise responding to these reviews? A. You have some customers to thank, and B) you have some complaints that should be responded to. And C) most owners respond to reviews, so by not doing so, you’re giving Jersey Mikes a bad reputation. D) I suggest selling small containers of macaroni salad, potato salad etc. and pretzels!!

My review: First of all, if you haven’t had Jersey Mikes, do not rate 1 star because they had not opened yet! That is very unfair. I love this place. Finally one opened near me. Absolutely fresh meat and toppings. The staff at this one in Somerset is young and friendly. My husband and I got a giant roast beef (free w/ points!). Outstanding!!! And BTW, less money than Subway. On another visit, we ordered cheesesteaks for pickup. Wow! ridiculously good. It’s really no wonder, that Jersey Mikes is doing so well. They sell a good...
