This is the worst Vietnamese restaurant I have ever eat at for the past 4 years visiting my son at Rutgers. My wife and I took our son out for lunch and decided to try at Mia’s Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant was pretty dead, but we decided to go in anyway. My son has C1, Combination Grilled Pork Chop. My wife has ordered D1. Vietnamese Braised Salmon. I had P2. Pho dac Biet (Special)!! My son rice dish came out first. Then my pho next, but my wife salmon took a very long time. Anyway, my son did not finish his dish so I asked him why. He replied, “ he did not like the rice nor the egg roll”. I did not think other wise until my wife dish came out after 30 minutes. The rice that they served there is very old and smell .. “ Cơm bị thiu” or spoiled. We can smell it from a far distance. We sent the rice back and ask for new rice, which we know they don’t have in the back . Anyway they heated the rice up and bring it back out to us. We can hear the cook in the back said, “ask her to try the vermicelli instead because the rice is no good”!!! The meats in my pho is very old and smelly too. Neither the boss or the waitress apologize for the mishap. I will not recommend anyone to dine there. The food there that they are serving are not fresh. The restaurant is dead so they keep selling foods 2-3 days prior. How can you serve someone the food that you...

Definitely tastes like a home cooked meal. I got the chicken banh mi (so delicious), Chicken wonton (ok), and the pho (pretty good!). I was not disappointed with the food at all.
Sadly- I did not feel very welcomed. This was my second time here but my first time dining in. The owner( I presume ) is not very friendly. We received dirty spoons twice and she didn't even apologize or say anything to us. She just grabbed the spoon out of my hand and replaced it with another (dirty) spoon. After the second time- we opted to using plastic utensils. It was a little odd, but very hard to notice that she approached EVERY other table to check in but she had nothing to say to us throughout our...
Read moreA Must-Try for Vietnamese Food Lovers! I absolutely had to write a review for Mia's Vietnamese Cuisine—it was a fantastic experience! The food was truly great, and I can confidently say they serve one of the best Bánh Mì sandwiches in town. The sandwich was perfect: the baguette was perfectly crusty on the outside and soft inside, and the filling was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Every bite was delicious. If you're looking for authentic, high-quality Vietnamese food, especially an amazing Bánh Mì, you need to check out Mia's....
