That said this place is solid, Franklins best sandwiches in my opinion. While in town to oversee a relative's property, I decided to pick up some alcohol from this establishment, and was told in no uncertain terms that "we can't accept out of state ID, due to too many underage purchases". I am nearly 40, and balding, and was incredulous to this explanation. I cant help but feel targeted for some reason, but no other explanation was given.
The owner even told me to shop at Franklin Liquors right down the block, which was very friendly and had no issue with my ID, so I hope you will choose to shop there,...

We have actually had people at other delis quibblle about putting together a complete ready to pick up order. Mike's people are more than willing to box up everything sandwiches, chips, drinks and have it ready for a quick pick up and go.
Everyone is pressed for time these days and this is a very nice extra effort that makes a difference for us.
