Fozzy's Bar & Grill - Franklin — Restaurant in Franklin

We came here this weekend to check out the new spot. We were long time patrons of Cool Springs Brewery and one and done with the disaster that was Huckleberry Brewing. The food at Fozzy's is great. We had a burger, wings, italian beef, tacos, and the buffalo chicken dip (least favorite item as it was very bland). Service was good too. It was nice to see one of our favorite bartenders from The Pig (IYKYK) landed there after it closed last month. My gripe is the beer and drink menu. As a long time resident of Franklin and a former bar owner, the beverages don't match the clientele of this area. The beer is very basic Miller/Modelo/Guinness/ type stuff with 1 IPA, 1 wheat and 1 mainstream cider. 2 of the taps are a Gatorade and Vodka concoction. The drink menu is a lot of sweet sugary drinks that you'd see at Kid Rocks on Broadway or on a college campus bar (alcohol isn't available until next week). Wine selection is also basic. Franklin is a bougie community and we like a nice beer or cocktail. Come football season, this place can give places like Jonathan's, Brewhouse and Neighbors a run for their money for screens, but we chose our spots by beer/drink selection more so than bar food. Would love to see this place up their game to reflect the area they're in. Would also love to see a Vandy sign inside since the Vols seem to have a presence. All in all, solid food and service....

I am so disappointed in this place. I went out tonight with some friends. Just wanted some drinks and to hear a good band. So we are having a blast!!! The band is probably the best cover band I have listened to. Every song was great!! So after a small break we notice a man approach the stage. (I later found out this was the owner) then the band starts packing up stuff. We were all confused and assumed they must be doing a few different bands. But no!!! He makes them stop!! I guess he did not like the band! I was shocked. First the band was absolutely a great band. Everyone around us felt the same way. This owner or manager was rude and just wrong for acting the way he did. We left immediately and told the guys in the band we had a great time. The only thing great in that place was the band. The food was whatever... my husband's drink was all soda. My sister was brought the wrong drink and when she finally did get her drink it was so sweet she couldn't drink it. So we were only staying for the band. So...

This place was so cool! The TV's are everywhere ( I counted 30 downstairs) so catching your favorite football game is easy, which is exactly why we checked them out. The food was very good and the restaurant was extremely clean. The bar being lit up was a nice touch and we loved that. We didn't sit upstairs but we definitely went up there to check it out. And the place was decorated for Halloween which made the vibe even more fun.

The bartender could have been more attentive. I get talking to the regulars that you know, but people become regulars when you give them attention. A drink should never go empty at the bar without you checking to see if they want another one. So work on that and this place...
