IHOP — Restaurant in Franklin

Very Slow Staff and will never come back...I came in this morning around 10:45 where there was only a handful of customers in the location and waited a while to be seated and once seated waited about 10 minutes without one waitress even acknowledging me to say "hey we will be right with you or anything" but once I get up to leave and ask for a manger about the poor service, here comes everyone from out of the kitchen to the and figure out what was wrong. Then some guy who said he was not the manager ask me "did you see any of the waitress as to imply why didn't I stop one of them. I am not there to service the wait staff and should not have to flag someone down to take my order or the even acknowledge my presence. I come here by mere choice and not out of obligation but I can bet you my last dollar I won't be back!!!! I don't need your help now that I am walking out...it to late to see what you can do for me and you need to find waitress who enjoy working with the public instead of hiring folk cause you need a warm body to...

They were very short staffed the morning we went because there was plenty of open tables, but still a full lobby of people waiting to be seated when we walked in the door. The waitress was pleasant and did her job well. The cooks in the kitchen on the other hand were not doing their job well at all. My waffle was cold when it was brought out, and my bacon was barely done even though I ordered it crispy. I asked the waitress to have them cook it longer since I ordered it crispy. She took it back and brought it back out more well done, but definitely not crispy still. It did at least look cooked twice second time around as it was still pinkish in some spots on half the bacon on the plate. It was not the waitresses fault so we didn't blame her for it. I should've spoken to the manager about the kitchen staff before leaving but we had a lot of errands to run and I didn't think about it before we left. It is a good place to eat because I've had great food and service from here before. But this particular day they were definitely...

I went on a Saturday around 1pm and was seated right near the end of the rush. We waited 10 min to order drinks and then another 15 for her to return and take food orders. Then the real waiting began. 40 min for our food to arrive and only one order was correct. When I say correct, I mean accurate to what's on the menu... We didn't ask for anything crazy except for one order. We asked if they could make their double chocolate pancakes. We used to get them in the past and it looks like it was taken off the menu. When we asked if they could do it, we got the old "I'll see what they can do"..

needless to say without seeing our server again for that 40 min, the food came and they have us regular pancakes with a side dish of chocolate chips.

When asked what happened, she then told us that they couldn't do it... We were so done at that point.

The person working the register gave us a discount and genuinely apologized and felt bad. She said to please come back during the week, as the weekend service is...
