I went there two weeks ago on a Tuesday to the section in a back that had all the burger patties and shrimp ready to weigh for purchase. I walk up looking at the whole display and the clerk asked me am I four year old " are y'all wanting some chicken?" ... I was confused as though why he assumed we will want chicken hence we haven't said anything and were eyeballing the entire display other than the chicken. I told him I actually want some burger meat and they go oh okay. It was a young Caucasian male with brown hair and a young blonde female with pink eyeshadow and dramatic eye makeup. As he was weighing the meat, him and the girl were both laughing because the girl cracked a joke about black people and chicken and she was saying that he assumed I want it chicken because me and my son are black. This is a shame that Kroger allows this type of mindset and a workplace for regular customers but I will no longer be doing my business here as this is not the first racially inappropriate encounter I've had in the area. When the mail Claire came back I asked what was funny and why he assumed I wanted chicken then he started making excuses saying I was looking at the chicken even though I wasn't.... Mind you he doesn't know that I heard what him and the girl said so he's trying to play it off. He then apologized saying sorry if I offended you which of course is not an apology and also said that I wouldn't be able to prove anything as far as racial jokes. I just wanted to leave this review to let people incorporate know but I have a feeling that nobody's going to do anything about it because this is an average mindset of an average Franklin Tennessee person and it's really sad. And to do all this in front of my four-year-old child really upset me and broke me to my core. All they did was sit...
Read moreDitching Alexander Plaza Kroger pharmacy (previously Williamson Square) after 24 years. Have been VERY patient as I have recognized they continue to be short-staffed. Have experienced multiple errors in addition to the short hours and a closed drive-thru. Have been taking two contraindicated drugs together for several months (yes, my doc missed this and prescribed them together). Pharmacist just called to alert me a few days ago after filling them multiple times. Also have regularly received meds with food dyes that are flagged as allergens in my records. Have on several occasions carried them back for white tablets after calling and asking them to order meds without food dyes. Have also searched out a few elsewhere. (One was substantially higher priced at DCA.) Found same error again today when I opened a new bottle of a med I just carried back last month. Called to ask if they had white tablets on hand. John, a pharmacist said yes, in a blister pack, but not enough to fill my 30 count. I offered to pick up what was on hand. Was then told "If you can find them at another pharmacy I will transfer your prescription." Odd, as he had just said he had them in a blister pack. When I pointed out this is a repeat error he said "that's just what they order" (bright pink coated tabs). He then said he could get them for me on Monday! I remarked that would mean I would miss 3-4 days of treatment (I had already informed him I was out of this med). I added that they should have ordered white tablets when the refill order was called in. I asked again if he had white tablets I could pick up with my other refills and was told...
Read moreWe ordered groceries for pick up early this afternoon for pick up later in the early evening. Apparently there were technical issues and they were running late-which totally fine, one can be understanding- and our pick up time was pushed to 7:30pm/8pm. My husband calls the store at 8pm to ask if our groceries are ready because we got no alerts or calls… he speaks with an incredibly unprofessional person who says “umm no, umm I don’t think so”, he proceeded to ask if there was any intention of them calling to let us know our groceries aren’t/wouldn’t be ready, to which she replied “umm I’m not sure.” We proceeded to ask to speak to a manager… “Umm he’s not here right now.” Every valid question asked regarding getting the groceries we ordered and paid for was met with umm’s and no actual response. We are livid at the lack of care, concern, professionalism, and courtesy. We can be understanding of issues happening beyond their control, but if you were able to call us once for a heads up, where was the rest of the communication and courtesy. We had none of our groceries for our planned dinners and now we will go to work tomorrow without our planned lunches, etc. Poor customer service, we are highly disappointed and want...
