At Home — Local services in Franklin

Update: I emailed customer care and they were going to give me a 20% coupon. Then I informed them of the price issue mentioned below. They took care of it and refunded me the total price of the rug pad since the advertised price was different form the charged price. It seems that this store is having some management issues. I placed an online order at this particular store for same day pick up because I was going to be in the area. I do not live close to any of their stores. I placed it at 10am and it said it would be ready for pick up by 5pm and I would receive a notification when ready. I never received a notification for pick up so I called the following day to ask about it and was told by the manager that they had other priorities that day and just didn't get to it. I chose to keep the items and travel an hour to pick them up. Once I got home, I noticed that the rug pad had $29.99 in bold numbers on the front of the package. I paid $34.99 for it when I placed the order online. I checked the sku and they are the same. I called to question this and he said the $29.99 on the package is an old price but item will ring up as the new price! This seems crazy to me to have an item on the shelf with an advertised price different from what you will actually pay! I was told that if I took the time to come back, they would give me the difference. It will cost me that in gas to get there and back so that probably won't happen. I am not impressed at all with the service but the product...

It's Fall, Y'all! Or it is @ at home - there was so much Halloween decor out that it will definitely get you into the Halloween "spirit" and that's indoor AND outdoor decor! There was cute kid friendly decor that wasn't scary but also cool and spooky decor for an older crowd. Gnomes, skeletons, ghosts, ravens/crows, gargoyles, dragons, witches, etc. Blankets, pillows, rugs, bowls, plates, glasses, mugs! (Some Nightmare Before Christmas items.) Pumpkins out the...wazoo...yard signs, door signs, wreaths, candles...it was Halloween Heaven! Sorry for the lack of photos, but out of everything these two were my favorite pieces.

ALSO...today, they started putting the Christmas trees out! Which is equally exciting!

Very disrespectful and ignorant employees, including management. When processing a return they proceeded to talk about me behind my back to another customer, unaware I was able to hear. Afterwards, I told another shopper about their return policy and was told not to speak to them, so I guess talking about other people behind their backs is only allowed to employees by at home’s policy. Besides this incident I have had numerous encounters with cashiers who sat the whole time of the transaction and did not even bother bagging the merchandise so I guess gossiping and insulting customers must be too exhausting to leave any energy for actual customer service. When I talked to the store manager she was unprofessional and did not even wear a name tag not that I blame her I’d be embarrassed to...
