I feel a mere five stars isn't quite enough i would give more stars if if were able to do so.
My mom, dad, nana and I came here late at night it was 7:42 PM. The lady that served us told us it was okay when we told her we would come back, she was very helpful and kind worded and told us we could stay and eat. We ordered our drinks and were met with a pleasant attitude and charming banter. She offered her advice on the menu selection because this was the first time we had eaten there.
Once our drinks were served, we made our selections based off her advisement. She waited patiently and with a smile as we ordered our meals, I will honestly say that it is rather hard to find food service employees as curtious and attentive as her and so i commend her on her attitude towards her work. Our food arrived shortly afterwards, it was piping hot and flavorful, I had ordered the Reuben sandwhich with onion rings and they paired well together, the sandwich itself was juicy and filling, it was by far the best...
Read moreI'm usually a little hesitant to visit places like this because they generally tend to be mediocre - or worse. But this place impressed me. A friend and I took a motorcycle ride from Murphy to Franklin and felt like grabbing breakfast. It was after 9am when we got there and the place was packed. Always a good sign.
I had scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, and a biscuit. Everything was REALLY good and my breakfast was served piping hot and fresh. Nothing fancy, but how fancy can bacon and eggs be? I really liked the home fries. I asked for a lightly-baked biscuit and that was exactly what I got. And best of all, no cheap fake butter - they serve REAL butter.
I was already coffeed up when I got there, so I can't comment on their coffee. But I can comment on their service...it was excellent. Very reasonable prices, too. Again, I give this place top marks. A great find...
Read moreWe stopped in to support a small local restaurant before our day of activities in Western North Carolina and I am fortunate that we found this wonderful lil spot, with the friendliest staff, Linda and Ally took care of all our food and refill needs! I had a half order of mountain man hashbrowns because I wanted to get a couple a-la-carte sides (bacon and grits), which was a great idea because the 1/2 order of loaded hashbrowns was plentiful enough alone! My bestie got biscuits and gravy and said they're some of the best she has had, so you probably won't be disappointed with either! The bacon was thin and crispy, grits a balanced texture, so munch on, breakfast eaters! We didn't have to wait long on the Monday morning when we went around 10:30am/11am,...
