I walked in 15 minutes before closing to ask if they would remove links from a new watch that was too large for my wrist. The owner, very patiently, and with a smile, adjusted the bracelet of the watch to a perfect fit. She could tell the watch was special to me, and I could tell that she wanted the best fit as much as I did. You might think I'm making much ado about something seemingly small. My favorite part of this store was their museum in the back. It had humongous amethyst and all sorts of fossils and artifacts. They have mastodon teeth, petrified wood, ancient tools, butt loads of arrow heads, and more. The store itself is in two sections with herbs and display case items then another section with gems, rocks, tools, mood rings, and jewelry making stuff. We spent about 45 minutes in total and the kids bought some small trinket things. Very friendly staff and fun atmosphere. If you like gems and rocks, then this place is for you. I very rarely give five stars for anything, but absolutely. Kevin and myself worked on a diamond engagement ring. That was my wife's who passed away and made it into a pendant surrounded by aquamarine Stones of AA quality. Right now I wrapped the pendant and forgot to take a picture but I will and send it here sometime in March. This pendant came out just outrageously beautiful. Thank you so much.
