La Toluca bakery — Restaurant in Franklin

What a hidden gem! This place is wonderful. The woman working there when I went was so friendly and super helpful. I went in hoping for quesitos, but they did not have any. She instead helped me pick something I've never tried before and it was absolutely delicious. The selection was huge. They had so many options, from cakes to flan to rice pudding, and canolli. Muffins, croissants, cookies, and so much more I dont even know the names of. And I genuinely cannot get over the prices. They do NOT charge enough for the quality and portion size you receive. WOW!!! This place is a 10!! Pastries, cookies, sweet breads, cannolis, muffins, croissants, handmade pies, cakes! Fresh, homemade, and delicious bakery treats. I'd be in serious trouble if this were near my house. I'm sad I live 3 states away though. If you like sweets, you MUST come here. If you are anywhere nearby it's worth the detour. We recently moved to the area and was looking for a good bakery as we were not very pleased with the products offered by the supermarkets in general. As soon as we entered the bakery, we were hit by the amazing fragrance of fresh breads and were surprised with the variety of pastries they make on a daily basis. The owner was taking out of the oven two trays of round bread loaves that were impossible to resist. We took a couple home and a bunch of other items which were equally delicious!!
