The Burger Poet — Restaurant in Franklin

My wife and I didn't feel like cooking, so we decided to get burgers. We had not yet tried The Burger Poet, so we looked it up. Their Employee of the Month was Akeem, so I knew we made a good choice! Not knowing how popular it was, I went to get our food. My mistake, as I should have called ahead and out my order in. It took about 20 minutes to get my food, as they cook everything to order. I'm not mad and that is not a criticism, they are just that popular. I will know for next time! So, my wife ordered the single Original burger with a side of fries and I got the double Classic burger with some Loaded Fries. I took the food home and we started in on it shortly thereafter. The burgers were tasty and just the right size for the price paid. The burgers had the perfect amount of toppings as well. My wife's side of fries were hot and fresh and my loaded fries had just the right amount of grease, due to the chopped burger and dressing. In just two visits, Burger Poet has become one of my favorite burger places. It's definitely my favorite burger place in Franklin. I got the classic hamburger and it was absolutely amazing! I recommend getting the double patty, because it was flavorful and extremely juicy. Normally I don't like seasoning on my french fries, but whatever seasoning they are using is perfect. Both times that I have stopped in, the staff have been fantastic. They are extremely nice and helpful. It also always seems very clean inside. I love the decorations and the chill atmosphere. I would DEFINITELY recommend stopping in here.

The best burger I’ve ever had. Completely blown away. This place is amazing for its food and prices and it’s going to be popular for a reason. Their fries are SO good!!!! I am not a huge burger person, but these ARE where it’s at! They’re delicious, hot, melt in your mouth, smash burgers and taste high quality and worth waiting in a line for. I have been there around 2pm most times and the line for food is still pretty busy and crowded. We are a family of 6 yet they have enough seating for all of us as most people are getting their food to go.
