We’ve been going to TJ’s for a few years now since it’s our local pizzeria. Their pizza is great but unfortunately, there have been so many small mistakes or disappointments in our orders that it’s hard to keep giving them chances when money is so tight as it is.

Tonight we ordered two burgers and a chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, they don’t just add cheese on their already $10 burger and fries are also extra which is a disappointment. No one asked over the phone when I was placing the order if we wanted cheese on our burgers so they assumed we didn’t want cheese. As a customer who has never ordered a burger from TJ’s I figured all burgers came with cheese like many other restaurants. So my family received two burgers without cheese.

On top of this, the chicken cutlet that came on my sandwich was soft, almost smushy and chewy rather than a crispy chicken cutlet which is what I thought I would be getting. Another unfortunate disappointment.

A few similar things have happened as well with the food where it’s not mentioned over the phone or there’s a mistake and after waiting an hour for delivery you’d rather just deal with it than making a fuss and sending it back. We will be looking for a different local pizzeria after giving so many chances to TJ’s and being disappointed time and time again, especially after spending $60 and not...

Edit 5/9/23 Unfortunately, my commitment and loyalty to this restaurant has officially ended. I tried very hard to continually forgive the mis-made and/or undercooked food because I have a tendency to be a VERY loyal customer. However, I cannot tolerate someone being rude to me. Especially, when it is the older guy behind the counter who I have seen for years. I wasn't upset when my food wasn't ready for pick up. Why would he get angry at me and shout "you just ordered 5 minutes ago!!" Well, it's 2023 and I was able to look right at my outgoing call log and see that it was actually 18 minutes earlier. I figured it wasn't going to be ready, but the order hadn't even been started yet. I understand that places get busy, and I wasn't even upset. I have no idea why he would be so angry at me. It's OK. There are so many options that I have already found a new spot. Goodbye TJs. ✌️ Edit 9/9/20 Finally, we were able to dine back indoors at our favorite spot! Food was perfect as always. Staff was nice enough to send us home with a box of complimentary slices since it was close to closing time!!!! Gotta love this place 💗
