Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Franklin

Edit: the owner reached out and offered a replacement of my beverage. I went back and they not only served up a delicious drink, but were happy to add a fruit to one of their menu items to please my son.

While the cashier was very friendly, I did not enjoy my smoothie at all. I ordered the Blueberry Bliss smoothie with energizer. I asked if the energizer had a taste and she said no. Got my order quickly and left. Unfortunately when I tasted it, I was deeply disappointed. Not only is the texture watery, but it tastes herby/hempy. I truly don’t know why. It should be just blueberries, strawberries, and banana. It’s a strange watery/ plant like taste. I’m disappointed but I was on the way to an appointment so I can’t just turn around to ask...

I am updating this review from 3 weeks ago. I recommended this place for a VERY large business order and could not be more disappointed with the service I got when picking it up. Staff was less than helpful and couldn't be bothered to help me figure out what each item was so I could individually label things since that option was not available on their online ordering system. I definitely do not recommend this place for large orders. I came in not knowing at all what I wanted. Staff was super helpful in helping me decide based on my (what feels like a million) allergies. While the wraps were delicious, my son had ordered a blueberry bliss smoothie. He tried it and while we normally enjoy fruit smoothies, this was very bland and kinda gross. I went up and told the young lady that my son (which clearly showed it was still full to the top), if we could get something different. She said unless something is wrong with it, there was NOTHING she could do .... I spent $36 on 2 wraps and 2 smoothies, tipped 15% for clearly just doing their job, and there's nothing they can do? I would NOT recommend going here and definitely do NOT recommend the Blueberry Bliss smoothie! We will continue to go to Smoothie King for any future smoothies...A little disappointed to say...
