Its only ok because dispite the pictures it was not that great of an experiance nore was the food that great either. My wife and I rarely get to go out and enjoy a meal together without the kids so when we do we are hoping for a good experience and this lunch out at Glory Days just didn't provide that. I had been here with my mother in law before and it was pretty good from what remember so I was looking forward to my lunch date with my wife. The highlight of the meal was the crab dip for the appetizer, it was hot and tasted good. From there everything seemed to go down hill. My wife was debating on ordering the shrimp or a crab cake because she wanted a lump crab meat crab cake and after conversing with the wattress who described it like that she decided on the crab cake. Well when it came to the table she was very disapointed and I know there is no picture but she described it as looking like something that came out of a frozen TV dinner. The bad food continued from there with my burger being under cooked and the crab mac and cheese that looks delicious well it was cold and when I asked them if they could heat it up they said that they would have to bring me a new one due to COVID restrictions, however when they did it was cold aswell so they just took it off the bill. Finally speaking of the bill it was an expensive meal that left me wanting more..... probably had something to do with the $FOUR$ $DOLLAR$ ice tea's, I don't think we will be back anytime soon.
I would like to add on to my review the fact that the mangagement of this establishment has since contacted me via e-mail, righted the wrong and has assured me that they would work to make things better. I was blown away by the level of professionalism that this showed and would like to say that you should give Glory Days a try and make your own opinion because any business that is willing to try that hard to please their cutomers and be better is worth a try for sure. Thank...
Read moreOn Wednesday, October 1, 2025 we visited Glory Days, 7th Street Shopping Center. My husband and I flew back to MD to visit family and friends. Weeks before our flight left we started planning our evening meals at our favorite restaurants. Glory Days was our last stop before we flew home the following day. We had a reservation for 7 at 4:00. We all were seated and ready to place our orders. Two people ordered meat loaf, one person ordered a hamburger, another ordered the smothered chicken, my husband ordered his all time favorite thing at Glory Days which is Macho Nachos now called Can-tastic Nachoes, I ordered 10 wings dry rub with Old Bay seasoning and the 7th person ordered something that I don't remember.
Only two of the 7 people said that their food was good. The other 5 said it was horrible. My husband had the Can-tastic Nachoes which was delivered in a can and was dumped on his plate by the server. Some of it went all over the table and it looked like DOG FOOD. The two people who had meatloaf said it was "mushy"and burnt on the bottom. The person who ordered the hamburger said it had a funny taste. I ordered the chicken wings which were so dry they were not enjoyable or delicious as I remember them and there was no Old Bay on them.
We just could not believe the food was so different than what we remember a year and a half ago.
Somebody in our party said that 7th Street Glory Days has new owners. Whoever reads this, I hope you take this review to heart. Obviously this Glory Days has gone down hill. Our favorite restaurant on our list and we were so very disappointed. I am sure the total of all 7 meals we...
Read moreThis was my first visit to Glory Days Frederick MD, and my experience was terrible after being seated for almost 15 minutes without a single “hello” or “I’ll be right with you” I should have just went with my first instinct to leave. Once my party and I were finally acknowledged the service was very slow simple things like refills for drinks and grabbing sauces were taking 15+ minutes to make it to the table. There were several times where our server didn’t stop to check on us when it was clear we had empty glasses and plates that needed attention, and additionally when she did finally attend our table she often would just grab things of the table without saying anything to us. After being ignored and served badly for over an hour we spoke with the manager who listened to us well and tried her best to rectify the damage done by this server by offering us dessert or Togo cups which we declined and simply asked for the check. However server Jessica felt the need to really ensure we would never want return to this restaurant again. She brought one empty Togo cup and tossed it on the table ( that was a party of three) then proceed to still take her time in bring out the check, only to add in a condisending tone when she finally delivered the check, how our order was comped for our inconveniences. Leaving us with a snippy “bye now”. Jessica continued to give us attitude and stomp back and forth past our table while we reviewed and signed the check. then proceeded to follow us out the door to scream “have a good night!” Her behavior was completely ridiculous and unprofessional. Very...
