These folks have no idea what they are doing.
We visited the Frederick MD showroom looking for a table and chair set for our kitchen, they had something that would fit perfectly. That is where the fiasco begins.
Our salesperson was obviously new, she was working with someone to complete the sale. Good news, everything is in stock and can be delivered to your home for an additional $70 or you can pick it up here for $20. We agreed to pick up the table on the day it would arrive at the store.
Delivery day comes, no notification from the store that our merchandise has arrived. I was in the area so I stopped in to see if it arrived. As I head to the service desk I am stopped by another salesperson. I tell the salesperson that I am there to pick up an order, he tells me to wait right here. The salesperson goes and gets a manager and together they walk me to the service desk; I found it quite odd as there were people at the service desk who did all the work. Finally, I get to go to the loading dock and pick up the table and chairs. The table box seemed a little big, but okay maybe it’s the packing. There was nothing on the order form that matched anything on the box.
I get everything home and begin to put the table and chairs together. The chairs were the same as in the showroom, they went together easily; so far so good. I open the table and discover it’s the wrong size. We received a 54” table, we thought we were getting a 36” table.
We call Regency to tell them of the mistake. They will take the table back if we drive it to their warehouse, a 4 hour round trip; or they will pick it up for $100. We are then informed that we received the table that was on the order. Apparently they had the wrong item number on the table that we wanted to purchase. They said they would call us back once they figured out how to handle the situation. Never heard back. We are still left looking for a new kitchen table and have a new dining table that wasn’t what we wanted. It’s safe to say we will not be shopping at Regency...
Read moreThis is by far the most horrendous experience I have ever had with a furniture company. Can you believe it? I was supposed to receive my delivery on September 3, but guess what? The audacity! The store had the nerve to call me on September 5, two whole days later, just to inform me that the delivery has been delayed for not one, but two weeks! Can you imagine the frustration? And as if that wasn't enough, after the two weeks had passed, the store had the audacity, yet again, to call me and inform me of another two-week delay! Unbelievable! But wait, there's more! When those two weeks were finally up, the store had the audacity to call me once again, only to announce that the delivery has been postponed for a whopping 30 days! Can you even comprehend the level of incompetence? It's mind-boggling! But here's the kicker, my dear friend, when I first made the purchase, Chris, the so-called manager, made promises upon promises, assuring me that there would be no delays and that my furniture would arrive within the initial two weeks. What a load of nonsense! Throughout this excruciating process, I had to resort to calling Chris a total of 10 times, but guess what? He never returned a single one of my calls, and he was conveniently unavailable every time I tried to reach him. Can you believe the audacity? I mean, who does he think he is? I wouldn't even dream of recommending the Frederick location to my worst enemy. The staff there, let me tell you, they are beyond rude, and as for Chris, well, he is nothing more than a bold-faced liar. He doesn't even have the guts to pick up the phone and call his customers back when he so clearly messed up. Unbelievable! Fortunately, I was able to get a full refund after driving to the...
Read moreMarcie was very friendly, although she was busy she did her best. My issues was not with Ms. Marcie but with the lady at the cashier.
She was an older white lady with short red hair working on 11/7 @ around 2:26pm at the cashier desk toward the front of the store
She was extremely disrespectful to the point I didn’t want the dining set. She didn’t say hello, She looked at me with a judgmental face and repeatedly told me the price like I didn’t already know and then raised her eyebrows when I asked to pay cash and giggled with the other red head lady.
She then openly disrespected my 2 year old (who was growing impatient after we waited 30 minutes for help and payment) and compared my toddler with 2 beautiful infants. Not only did she ignore me and talk to the other customers but felt the need to comment her disgusting opinion. When I left because of her attitude she didn’t say have a good day she just looked at her computer.
I would have paid in cash and waited for my dining room set to be in stock because it was beautiful and worth the wait, however I will not give my money to someone like her who judged me and disrespected my family. I could have addressed her about her attitude in the store but I will not bother myself with her.
However, the older white guy wearing a white shirt and a black mask was very polite and friendly. I would come back to have that gentleman help me and get his commission off of my dining set. He asked my family and I twice if we were okay and complimented my toddlers outfit and when I was at the cashier desk he was still polite and told my family and I to have...
