El Sabor De Mi Tierra — Restaurant in Fredericksburg

This is a food truck by the side of the road, there is one broken down picnic table to sit at if you choose to eat on site. We ate in the truck. There’s a lot of vehicle noise as it’s a busy road. I had the pupusas and my husband had the baliada. My pupusas were piping hot and served with a side of one small baggie of slaw and a baggie of sauce with a side of hot sauce. They were very filling but not overly flavorful, even with all the additions. My husband really enjoyed his baliada. The service was fine but not warm, it’s tough with the language barrier. We paid $30 for our two portions...

This place is mid. The vibes are so weird too?? I shoulda turned around when I was no one inside. You order at the door. They have a bar all set up but that’s not where you order? Everyone working here was so unenthusiastic and robotic. The food tasted really store bought, but the meat was good. I don’t understand how this place has so many good reviews 😭. Y'all lied to me. You must stop here! It was everything I expected and more. I tried something new and it was delicious! I got the Baleada salvadoreña (for me, it's the perfect breakfast item). My family got the popusas, which did not disappoint....
