REVEL Kitchen + Catering — Local services in Fredericksburg

I recently got married in Fredericksburg, TX and REVEL catered for our rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception. As a Covid-19 bride, everything changed during a timeframe that I was actively researching to book some very important vendors. I live 4 hours away from Fredericksburg, so I wasn’t even able to travel to meet vendors much less do tastings. My wedding planner Taylor Bible (who I highly recommended and trusted to guide me in a lot of my decisions) highly suggested that I speak to Marisa with REVEL. I had been getting quotes with other caterers, but I jumped on a call with Marisa and it just clicked. If you’ve met her you know, she’s passionate and knowledgeable but as a bride she wanted to hear what your goal and ideas were so she can help you meet those, even elevate them and bring them to life. Their service and bar staff was top tier, the food and menu options (all of which still had me salivating just discussing over the phone) were truly 2nd to none in the area. I can’t tell you how many people following the rehearsal and reception, and even in the days to follow, raved about how the meals by REVEL were hands down the best they’ve had at any wedding. Revel Catering is the absolute best. They catered our rehearsal dinner and our wedding and crushed it. Everyone both at the rehearsal and the wedding constantly told us how great the food was. The food was both delicious and presented so well. Marisa has exquisite taste and Max is an unbelievable chef. Marisa listened to our ideas, added her unique and special touches, and brought it all together to create a perfect meal/setting for both events.

In addition, Revel provided cocktails for the rehearsal/wedding. The ingredients were so fresh, all handcrafted, and truly delicious. It wasn’t about volume but about ensuring each guest had a drink they could enjoy. To this day, people are still talking to us about how great the drinks were.

Finally, we must say Marisa was such a joy to work with. She gave us guidance, excellent recommendations, and wanted to make sure our weekend was special. Revel made us feel like we were the most important thing to them and it showed with how well the food, drinks, displays, and service was for us all weekend.

Revel Kitchen and Catering did an amazing job catering our wedding reception for 125 people! The attention to detail and astounding service made our day so special and stress free. The extra effort of serving appetizers and drinks to us and our family during pictures was very appreciated! Even had our own little bride and groom appetizer tray and drinks set up in our room prior to entering our reception. Which I especially loved because I didn’t want to miss out on the crab cakes and elk tenderloin!

Prior to our wedding, our tasting was so amazing that it was almost all we talked about leading up to our wedding day, and we have received many many compliments since from our guests.
