I recently made a custom order of mini donuts for my son's birthday party. I placed my order well in advance, not once did they mention they were closing at 3:00 when I placed my order. I went Saturday at 3:10 and they were closed. I called and called, no answer and not even an option to leave a voicemail. I received NO phone call that day which I thought would just be common courtesy to say "we are closing soon and your order is here." NOTHING. I called the next morning and explained the situation, the woman on the phone could not have been more nasty and rude to me. I was very nice and stated that I wasn't sure what happened because I never was told there was a closing at 3:00 which would have been fine as I was picking food up right next door at 3:00 for my son's party and she said "we always tell our customers for weekend orders we close at 3". I said I understood but I can assure her that no one did because I would have stopped there first before picking up my food right next door. Then she said "well I always tell customers for 3:00 on weekend orders, I don't know who you spoke to but that's what we do". I once again stated I heard her but assured her AGAIN no one told me. I then asked why didn't anyone call me? I paid in FULL when I placed the order a week + prior. She said they did call me... NOPE. First she said they called once, then some time later she said they called 3 times. WHICH WAS IT?! Well, she read back the number and surprise surprise it wasn't my number. So I said, how is it my fault your staff wrote down the wrong number to contact me and I am the one scrambling on the day of my sons party because you're closed and didn't contact the right number you incorrectly wrote down and I am out money for your mistake? It doesn't seem fair, to which the awful woman said "It's not our problem". Well what is their problem is AWFUL customer service and staff. I will HAPPILY drive all the way to Ocean and out of my way to give them my business. I could not believe how nasty she was. I didn't even ask for a refund! I just wanted to understand why I wasn't notified. I am sure if I didn't pay ahead of time they would have been upset and had me noted that I didn't pay and didn't pick up for a future order. SOOOOOO UPSETTING!...

Gourmet doughnuts at about $0.40 - $1.00 compared to the cost from Dunkin Donut™. They have everything from “Old School” to the high end “A Little Extra.” The question is, “is it worth it?” My answer is a resounding YES if compared to DD™.

During COVID-19 times I get a bit squeamish about going to new places. My biggest concern is, “how will they handle things during these crazy times?” Upon entering, I was greeted by a greeter who keeps things from getting chaotic. They will direct you accordingly, who’s available at which register if ordering or if you are picking up, which cashier will be assisting you. Counters and charge machines were constantly being sprayed and wiped. Piles and piles of delicious cookies and doughnuts were neatly piled high on the tables to the right, as you enter in. The customers were orderly and all careful as we stood 6’ apart. I was very please and proceeded with my order.

On Christmas eve, I decided to celebrate hubby’s birthday a little differently. Instead of getting a huge cake only to have another one on Christmas Day, I decided to try Broad Street Donuts so hubby could get a variety. The day I went, they had decorated ones for Christmas and the regular Old School, BSDC Specialities, Daily Specials Galore, and of course, their famous, “A Little Extra” doughnuts. The more you order, the cheaper it goes. A box of six will set you back $9.99. You can choose anything you would like and they will adjust the cost accordingly should you decide to order from their “A Little Extra.” There is also Vlugen which is gluten-free, dairy-free, and pareve. I order their decorated ones for the holidays plus some additional old favorites: S’mores Galore, Mulberry Street, and the beloved West Park. My guys loved it but they were exceptionally too sweet for me. It’s a matter of taste. Not only are their fillings sweet, so are the doughnuts, themselves. My guys agreed to that and they are the ones with the...

I just left this place after 45 minutes waiting. I understand it is Halloween and a Saturday so I know there is going to be a wait (which is fine). I was in line with my brother, he ordered right before me. So I assumed my order was next since we ordered at the same time. But then 15min. pass by and people who were behind us kept getting their order before me. After the second person who I know came in after us, I asked politely about my order. The lady who I asked couldn't find my order which is only 4 donuts, looked around then she said "it should be out soon". I told her that I have been waiting for 45 minutes and that my brother who I came with got his 15 minutes ago, and that people who came after us have been getting their order.( At this point I kinda had a feeling they forgotten or misplaced my order). Then another lady jumped in and said, "it's being made it will be out shortly". I know that was a lie, because the first lady didn't tell me that in the beginning and couldn't find it. As a business owner I know how important it is to have good costumer service and to maintain it. I feel that I could've received a little sense of sympathy or apology for the situation but instead it felt more like a bother for them that I asked. At that point I asked for my money back because I know it was going to take them at least 15 minutes or more and to be honest I have lost my patience with their rudeness. When they asked me to confirm if I wanted a refund, I said "I really have to go now", they said "ok".... Like I said I know they're busy but AT LEAST a simple "sorry for the inconvenience" might of changed my mind about the refund.

I just hope they also refund me back the tip I initially gave them. I will not...

Here’s my honest review.. I recently visited Broad Street Donut Company, eager to try their mini donuts, which I had heard so much about. While the novelty of the mini donuts was certainly appealing, I found that they ultimately missed the mark. The donuts tasted.. ok.., but not quite great—perhaps the smaller size detracted from the overall experience and is the reason for the lack of flavor. The sweet creams and filings (which were mostly on top of the donut rather than “filling”) were overpowering the small bite size treat. The small accent of sprinkles or round candy pearls were hard and kinda took away from the overall experience. Additionally, I decided to grab a coffee to complement my treats. Unfortunately, this was another area where the shop fell short. Despite their emphasis on being a donut and coffee shop, the coffee lacked variety and flavor, leaving me feeling underwhelmed. (One pot of Guatemalan and a choice of whole milk or almond) Overall, while the concept is fun and the donuts have potential, I believe there’s room for improvement in both the taste and variety of offerings. I’d love to see Broad Street Donut Company elevate their game to truly deliver a memorable experience. Picture is for reference..(a day old from fresh.. which quickly went stale)

Found this place while i was visiting NJ. Went in there and you will welcome with the fresh donut smell and they have so many different kinds there in the display. As i had a barber appointment so went in there to get a coffee and then ordered a donut. The minute i tried the donut i killed the whole thing in less than a minute and I regretted that why did i order only one and wish i could have ordered more. Due to time constraint I couldn’t go back as i had to attend an event. Well long story short, I highly recommend this shop for fresh donuts and would go back there to visit them. Team who was working there was also very helpful and awesome. Thanks and kudos to the owner and team.
