Worst service and behavior I've ever seen in a restaurant. So couple weeks ago me and a coworker spun by around 3 am after our shift was over to grab a bite, but regret such decision. We walk in to see the manager and a waitress arguing and I hear plenty of profanity, we finally get seated and order our drinks, and then we wait ... For at least 30-40 minutes until our waitress comes by again to get our order, each got the unlimited pancakes. Well it just goes downhill from here: a whole bunch of obviously drunk people, wreaking of alcohol come in and they are just carrying on the whole time screaming swear words and what not and harassing anyone new who came in, they were never asked to leave, then some gangster wannabe guy who seemed to know the unpleasant waitress comes in, sits at the counter where the waitress is, and just talks to the waitress while people, like us are still waiting to be served and we can see our food on the counter thats cold at that point. Then several other groups of young adults/college students come in and they were relatively quiet but one bumped his straw on the ground and that waitress started swearing at these people for "making a f*** mess of my g** d floor" manager said nothing, everyone looked shocked. Then homie G at the counter ask the waitress if he need to take care of anybody (only care he should take is pulling his pants above knee level). Well our cold pancakes finally arrive, we eat them and we try to stop her to ask for a second round she just ignored us completely, well we never got anymore, or a refill. So as were going to pay our bills a middle aged guy comes in and she grabs him by the arm and drags him saying "come on, COME ON, NOW ! LETS GO!" and it was just unacceptable. Well the manager deals with our bills and looks at our table, then us and in a snarly tone "aren't you guys gonna leave a tip" well no not after the worst service I've ever seen. As we are walking out I wasn't one bit surprised to hear the waitress and homie G talkin crap about us not tipping her hard work ???? Never...
Read moreThe rudest, most unprofessional experience I've ever had at a restaurant, EVER. Rude staff, poorly ran and a very unpleasant atmosphere. When people leaving tell you "good luck" while you're waiting to put your name in, that should tell you something. Once I was finally acknowledged (after waiting for about 8-10 minutes) I was rudely "confronted" by a worker that told me I "better have 45 minutes to wait because it's gonna be a while" and if I don't want to wait that I should leave. While this is bad enough to do, it was done in the rudest, most awkward and most unprofessional way possible. When I turned to leave, they had to continue and say in a condescending way "come back next week when people decide to show up" I said I'll pass on that and was told "good" Yes, this happened. Absolutely unbelievable disgusting treatment because someone was mad that someone didn't show up to work apparently, and apparently that is my problem. Never again. The manager should definitely learn how to talk to people and learn some professionalism, but I'll guarantee that'll never happen. Really, they should find a different line of work. Really a shame because this location used to be very well ran years ago obviously by a different manager. I'd avoid this place at all costs. Never...
Read moreIf I could give - stars I would. This is for the Fremont Ohio Location. I travel alot and always stop at Denny's. I have never had an experience like this. They where very understaffed. Only two severs on the floor. When we got the attention of the server she said she would be right with us. We stood waiting to be seated for 10 min without any other acknowledgment..
When I got the servers attention agian and let her know my client was Disabled and needed a booth she said all the booths where dirty. And then she walked away agian. There where at least 8 taples with food sitting on them. With no one to clean them. There where more people waiting to be seated than where at tables.
We stood there another few min until a manager came out finally and seated us. She was not very pleasant.. another server came from the back and waited on us.. she was very nice.
This was very poorly managed . I have worked at Denny's as a waitress.. i know when your busy it's hard. But it wasn't that busy .. more no room for customers because of table tops not being clean. There was not one smile on the servers or manager. I would have been embarrassed to work there.
Will definitely never recommend...
