Food: Pho is flavorful and authentic even in Vietnamese standards. It tastes much better than the Pho Ha Noi or other places nearby. The Vietnamese egg coffee is really good and comparable to Tram coffee. I hope that they can keep the quality the same all the time. The bun bo hue is good in general. Fried rice flour cake was surprisingly good as not many restaurants can make it that crispy but the sauce is too sweet and salty. The price is reasonable. -1 star for improvements: pho came out not hot enough. They gave us 1 stem of basil with a couple leaves for two orders of pho. For our take out order of the shaking beef over rice, I wish they could use a better quality box next time like a microwavable instead of the current clear plastic box. Service: new place so it's still a little bit unorganized which is understandable. But the waitress and waiter are nice and attentive, which is a plus. Atmosphere: nice decor, utensils are new and clean. -1 star because of the unpleasant odor from the toilet. They should make sure to keep it close or have some odor treatment for long term improvement. Overall I would definitely come back for pho and would be proud to take friends/ coworkers to this place to try out the pho. In fact, I already introduced this place to my coworkers who live in the bay area right after finishing my...
Read moreIn comparison to the Vietnamese food I usually eat in San Jose, this place was ok. I came here for dinner on a weeknight and it wasn't too busy around 5:15pm.
I ordered the shaking beef rice place since that is one of my go to dishes to get. The flavor wasn't quite like what I'm used to and it was alright.
My friend had order the crispy garlic tofu and crispy fried noodles with seafood. She had asked for the sauce to come on the side but it didn't come out that way. I don't know if our server heard the request since she also had a hard time getting our order down in general. The tofu had no flavor when I tried a piece.
There's plenty of parking in this plaza. Some of the tables were in direct sunlight, so I can see this being uncomfortable during the spring and summer months. We had grabbed a table behind the wall to avoid the sun. Overall, food and service was ok and I wouldn't have to come back here again to try...
Read moreI saw the facebook ad, we drove from San Leandro to try it. Big mistake. The staffs was inexperience, unable to spot the people needing to order. People came earlier were not served, they served the sitting near the cashier. We ordered #14, Special Pho, portion small, overpriced , the meats were not very good , the tendon were extremely tough, we order #18m and it was not good. We made another mistake by ordering a #18 to take home. I ordered this while placing 2 other Pho . Te server told me to go ahead and placed the order due to the fact it maybe busy. After a disappointing meals, they still did not have my to go order. I had to pay and wait for another 10-12 minutes for them to make another order. I told the owner and manager that his staffs was inadequate the food was noit good. I dine in Oakland and San Jose where there are abundant of Pho restaurant. Don[t go for the hype. Don't make my...
