HIGHLIGHTS BEFORE READING: WAS SERVED COLD UNSAFE FOOD, WAITED A HALF HOUR WITH 3 CUSTOMERS BEING SERVED BEFORE US; maybe im a little biased just from having only experienced the openers shift at minimum making sure youre food is edible, BUT let me tell you about night shift, first we arrived a bit before 1050pm with 4 cars in front of us, one left due to the car at speaker not being helped for however long they had been waiting there making 3 cars in front of us, after sitting there for about 10 mins i called to ensure they were still serving due to having seen workers in there upon pulling up and the app saying they were serving until 1130 when i had initially placed my mobile order, the call was ignored twice then the third time they answered and i heard background noise but no voice, said hello a few times then was hung up on, so i called again, asked if they were open was rudely told yes until 12a then after i said i was just making sure thank you was hung up on mid sentence with nothing else said to me, waited another 5 or so minutes before the initial car that was already there upon my arrivals order was taken, having already paid and been stuck in between cars at this point i had no choice but to stay in line, finally when my order was being taken i was asked if i was using the mobile app, responded with a yes, because i was, then received no response so i just said my code thinking maybe they were just expecting me to blurt it out in the first place, was told to pull forward, and as i was waiting a huge line accumulated behind me and 5 or so cars chose to leave from being there for so long and having no reason to stay for such terrible service, upon reaching the window the “server” with orange hair was shouting obscenities towards the back, but i was met with a positive attitude at least when she came to serve me, before even being able to pull out my boyfriend did the traditional fry pull we all do, and they were cold, thinking he was over reacting he gave me a couple at once and genuinely, they were COLD with ZERO warmth to them what so ever, which immediately means to me being pregnant and having food safety management experience and knowledge that this food was no where near safe for me or anyone to consume i half considered re entering the line to amend the problem, but the line being so long and it being 1115 at this point meaning i had waited a good 30 minutes with only 3 other customers infront of me i am convinced i would have been waiting there till after they closed and wouldnt have gotten any help anyway, and from my experience with the initial calls, clearly there was no point in calling, after arriving at home a less than 5 minute drive from the mcdonalds store, i opened my double cheeseburger and the patties were essentially black cold bricks, i would have honestly had no issue consuming them charred if they had show ANY sign of being prepared within the last 30-45 minutes but being again COLD and hard to even tear with my hands, again this food was completely unsafe for me or anyone to consume, my boyfriends food, it seems his quarter pounders were reheated old patties as when he bravely took a bite from one, he said it tasted absolutely NOTHING like “normal” mcdonalds (we have both worked for this company at other locations or this location very briefly) and he described it as tasting like the floor in the grill area, making him deeply concerned for when this food was initially prepared and how long it spent in the “danger zone” temperature wise also making his food in-consumable, overall this was money completely wasted and im not to sure well be returning...
Read more12/4/24 went to pickup an order. Got yelled at by a bald white male with a dark blue hoodie jacket on. About 5 10. He was not in uniform but he was behind the counter & his name tag wasn't visible so I don't know his name.
He yelled at me for being late for a pickup order. I didn't realize I was late. I'm 2 months pregnant & have kids in the car. It's hard to make things work sometimes. I'm certainly not perfect.
I walked in & he said I was late picking up. I'm sorry I said. I wait all the time. It's not a perfect system. We all make mistakes. Like when I go to pickup an order & it's still not read 15 mins past the ready time & no employees would even make eye contact so i can ask aboit an update. But I make a mistake one time & I get yelled at. I didn't get a notification that the order was done. The app isn't perfect. The maps don't even work half the time. I had only been assigned the order for 5 minutes but I was sitting their waiting to be assigned an order for aboit 15 mins. Until the order is assigned to me and pops up on the screen of my phone, I cannot go in and grab that order even if I'm available just sitting there with no orders assigned to me. It's up to the app to assign the order. A lot of orders get passed over if they don't tip enough or if the drop off location isn't ideal for the driver.
So, He attempts to humiliate me as a pregnant woman. I went to my car & cried uncontrollably. I've experienced 2 miscarriages & cannot work my normal job at the moment so I dash in the meantime until my pregnancy is secure. He continued & said I had to leave the property. He said I was trespassed & couldn't come to that location as a customer or delivery driver. Nobody else said anything. All the other managers just watched. Then as I sat in the parking lot crying my eyes out because I have anxiety & I'm pregnant, I couldn't drive because my eues were so puffy & I became very nauseous so I had to cancel the order & throw it away as directed. The managers just sat at their table by the window laughing & pointing LITERALLY as I'm on the phone with corporate. I called my support line & reported it to my legal team. I also reported it to corporate.
After talking with a woman at corporate, I was informed that I AM NOT TRESPASSED & I CAN GET FOOD AS A COSTUMER WHENEVER I WANT.
Although I did block this mcdonalds from my route. I don't need that constant worry & stress. The thought of going back to get ridiculed over something so minuscule gives me so much anxiety. I don't fear my life but I do fear the employee will yell at me again if I accidentally do something wrong. I get plenty of work elsewhere & I don't even live here. But I will be back to get my daughter nugget if it's convenient.
I mean, all that hostility because I was a little late & tried to defend myself? I understand the frustration. I have had mcdonalds & other restaurants press ready & then I STILL wait 10 mins. Some people never press ready & I'm left to guess. But to react so hostile after meeting me once was inappropriate. I have worked in real, fancy cuisine restaurants & a couple fast foods, as a cook & manager for 13+ years & I never treated a dasher that way. Or any other person. Kindness should be the first choice.
If I'm not mistaken, mcdonalds inspiration was making/getting food fast & making customers happy. Neither of those things happened because I ended up in my car crying & Kevin never got his oder on regardless.
Don't forget, we don't work for the restaurant. You can't tell us what to do or teat us like your employees. It's rude. Please be a better person to other people.

Whether the people in front of you are using the app or taking forever ordering, but the staff are usually quick to greet you when you get to the speaker and today was no different .
Using the McDonald's app is definitely a game changer when it comes to people ordering larger meals and it saves time at the speaker and those lines don't line up behind you if you use the app .
I have found when I use the McDonald's app that my orders are more accurate and I am less likely to have items that I personally would forget, and this includes asking for condiments and extra sauces etc .
The kids enjoyed getting the Minecraft adult meals with the Minecraft toys and cards in them and I hope they continue to add those to their menu, as my kids are older and they still are kid at heart and definitely enjoy getting something special in their box .
We live locally and visit the restaurant often, if we do have any problems we do call and speak to management and they are quick to make everything right .
I highly suggest and recommend that anybody going to the restaurant. Download the app for a chance to earn your points on all your purchases, get free food, as well as the opportunity to use a 20% off coupon once a day when you do have those larger orders and you'd like to see your savings, add up .
Many times. I'm buying for six or seven people and we can save up to $15 to $20 on our orders and it's such a pleasure to be able to get that much of a discount .
I appreciate the changes they've made in the restaurant and the staff as they are more pleasant and it makes the experience even when longer, a...
