Three dollars down the drain all because McDonalds on 53 cannot make a sandwhich right. I had to circle back TWICE and sit through the drive thru line since thier unable to open the doors. Which I bet is because they kept messing up so many orders they didnt want people coming in to tell them. After sitting in the drive thru letting them know that the "fixed" order had onions on it. Then they told I didnt say that for my sandwhich (I did I showed them at the window the special order). Then they screamed into the mic (they were talking to thier team members prolly forgot to turn off thier mic) about whether or not the girl should be sent up to the window. Which btw does anger me a bit cus I LITERALLY HAVE A BEARD. I know im only fusterated about that cus I literally had to waste gas and go to a different mcdonalds to buy another sandwhich because they couldnt make one right. And while I completely understand mistakes cause Ive worked at many fast food resturants before but at least if the customer comes back I pay attention to what they want. Im not normally one to even leave reviews let alone negative reviews but this place has seriously gone down the drain. If this was just the first time this has happened I dont think id be as livid but since everytime I go there I either get my sandwhich wrong or something along the lines, Im kinda just surprised people arnt boycotting that resturant after all the times they’ve messed things up then handled the situation unprofessionally.
So if you want your sandwhich made how you like and honestly love it then go to the one on state. It'll save you money when 53 messes it up over and over and you have to drive to state anyways just to get the sandwhich...
Read moreI rarely leave negative reviews, and don't have overly high expectations for a fast food drive thru restaurant - but I had to post about our experience here.
Our initial order took over 5 mins as we sat at the speaker waiting for someone to acknowledge we were there (almost pulled around again thinking it might help). Then sat at the window to pay for the same amount of time, just waiting... Took our food home for dinner where we found the quality issues. Our large fry was fulfilled at what can generously be called "half" see pics - that's fresh out of the bag, no stragglers left behind, that's how it was sold to us. We were already home and had never seen that from McDonald's before. Also, our son's apple slices were a package of diced apples for their oatmeal. Honest mistake or supply chain problems, I can't say for sure. Also, our 2 cheeseburger meal seemed like they used all the condiments from 1 burger to make 2. That is, when we opened both burgers, one had mustard and pickles while the other had ketchup and onions - not everything on both as is often customary.
Every place makes mistakes once in a while, and I'd like to think this was an infrequent occurrence, but we are likely to remember this stop...
Read moreHorrible! We watched as 2 other cars in the other drive thru line were serviced before us, even though we arrived first. We waited for over 20 minutes in the drive through line after our order was taken. Additionally, our order was wrong, the drinks watered down (probably from sitting), and our food was cold. When I called back to see if we could come back the next day to either get a refund or get our food replaced, Sasha and Ariana (managers?) stated that we either had to come back that night or we would have to accept a coupon through the mail. We just traveled 4 hours from Chicago and were at our hotel. The last thing I wanted to deal with was driving back to McDonalds to have a staff that looked like they were on drugs, spend another 30 minutes of my time to fix an order that should have been correct to begin with. Very disappointed in the lack of effort, quality,...
