McDonald's — Restaurant in Fremont

I love going to this McDonalds and have since I was a little kid. However, tonight my dad and I wanted to get an order to go. There was barely anyone through the drive thru and no one inside. We ordered and waited about twenty minutes. There was at least 10 people who got their orders before us, some where large as well. We only ordered a quarter pounder meal and chicken nugget meal. By the time I talked to an employee at twenty minutes, my father had become really agitated. We had waited another ten minutes with the managers help.

This manager is typically nice and is always there to take my order. Even for the thirty minute wait, we received no compensation. As a fast food employee, a restaurant is supposed to offer something of someone's choice or have it remaid. The manager said, "There are other people before you who are waiting a half hour too. " Well, if they are, then do something about it. Yes, my dad was acting like a little bit like a Karen, but what do you expect waiting a half hour! Literally the employee gave us an unwrapped chicken sandwhich for compensation and we don't like chicken sandwiches. Once we left, I checked our order and we were missing a large fry and my ranch for my nuggets that we paid for!

The quarter pounders were undercooked for the second time this year. The first burgers were rescheduled and cooked as well done. These were hard to eat as the jokes on me. No goldilocks food for me no just right. The second batch of undercooked were in that special family big meal deal. I called the manager and of course had to go back as I was parked a little ways away. The deal with going back was so many cars in line I couldn't get around to park for a while. The person answered the phone finally yes I know it's a busy time. I said come get these red sandwiches I can't wait this drive line again I need to get home before dark. The person brought sandwich coupons out which was nice. I just ate the chicken nuggets and will use the coupon this week for something. I asked for ketchup and salt for my fries which were missing. I really do love catsup on my fries. The last time I went I asked for dehydrated onions instead of the raw pieces and were charged for them. I mean really McDonald's if I asked for a trade let me know it's a cost. It just showed on the receipt. Tell people there us a swap fee. I don't know why an onion for a onion. Even trade. Oh well Wendy's and runza are just a few blocks away. I will go there instead for a while. Too much hassle...

Jan 2024 Update

This McDonald's has improved tremendously! I was there for a few hours on New Year's Day morning and was impressed at how the restaurant was very clean, there were no flies, and the service staff were friendly and helpful.

As such, I highly recommend visiting this McDonald's.

August 2022 Review This is the worst McDonald's that I've ever been to- which is something because I've been to many around the world.

I had breakfast there with my husband a couple of days ago and had a bad experience because:

1. there were flies flying around while we were eating indoors. I heard from my husband that there are also flies when he goes there for coffee with my father-in-law in the afternoon

2. the breakfast burrito that I had was stuck to the wrapper. Fortunately, we were able to ask the waiter to switch it for a sausage egg mcmuffin.

3. the hot chocolate tasted watery (instead of chocolate-y) and had a weird taste. I couldn't finish it and threw most of it away.

I hope that improvements could be made ASAP. It was a disappointing experience, saved only by the...
