Reinita Restaurant — Restaurant in Fremont

I eat at various Mexican and ethnic restaurants multiple times a week. The service was SUPERB! The gentleman working was super attentive and friendly. The food is what really missed the mark. Starting with the chips and salsa. The chips are super thick and were over done so very very hard. The salsa is basically tomato sauce with a light dusting of cilantro but very little flavor. The queso blanco was tasty but ruined by the not so great chips. My chicken and chorizo fajitas were pretty tasty and if I come back I'd get them again. However the other two entrees at my table were not good-the chicken tacos especially. The chicken had zero seasoning-looked like boiled and chopped chicken. The enchiladas were okay but not great. The margaritas were on point though-in fact my jalapeno margarita was REALLY good! If that chips and salsa weren't so unfortunate I'd definitely be back. But they are such a staple with Margarita that I can't imagine one...

My wife and I have been looking for good Mexican food all over Fremont. We have tried MULTIPLE other restaurants with mixed reviews but nothing worth celebrating. With Reinita, we think we have found a winner! Best Mexican food in town by far! We ordered a normal chicken burrito and a normal steak burrito with no lettuce (yuck... rabbit food...). The order was ready very quickly within ten minutes and we carried it out to take home. Unfortunately for me, the steak burrito had been prepared with lettuce so I had to call back to get another one. They were apologetic and told me they would make the correct burrito for me. Living only a couple of minutes from the restaurant, I drove back to get my newly prepared burrito and returned home to eat. It was delicious! Reinitas has to be hands down the best hispanic restaurant around. They’re a Guatemalan restaurant that also serve a variety of Latin-American foods. They also offer very unique hamburgers and chicken wings, AND HAVE THE BEST MARGARITAS IN TOWN! They have it all! Their Guatemalan dishes are also a must try. The staff are always so friendly and attentive, I always feel so welcomed and satisfied every time I go. The place is decorated so elegantly, nothing like any other common Mexican restaurant. The backside of their location has pool tables, claw machines, and casino machines!!! Wow! They also have club nights on Fridays and Saturdays!
