Vasy's Donut Shop — Restaurant in Fremont

Wish I could give 0 stars to this business solely based on their poor customer service. Went this morning with my kids to grab some donuts and after spending $15, I ask the guy at the front if I could get an extra cup and he looks at me and tells me NO in the upmost rude manner as possible. My 8 and 4 year old were shocked. I will never ever be going to this place again and I urge any families with young kids who wants to have a quality time at the donut shop to please take your business elsewhere. We were going to this place almost on a weekly basis for the last 5 years and for the owner to not give us an extra cup while being this rude is ridiculous.

Advice to the owner: Your customer service just cost you one family and if you keep it up, pretty soon others will follow. Smile, great your customers in a respectful manner and be nice to kids...

This is a really good donut shop. I love lemon filled and they have it at Vasy's. I find most donut shops don't. You can tell high quality ingredients are used to make the donuts. There was another place I went to in Fremont that had great donuts too and is much closer to where I live (near Newpark Mall) but they changed owners and it isn't nearly as good anymore... i went there for over 25 yrs. Now I drive to Vasy's (after a recommendation) it is a few miles further but worth the drive. The help is also very nice. Family owned donut shop. They're very nice and quick getting through the line if there is one. The raised donuts are very big and fluffy. I like to get the apple fritter, but if I'm not early enough, they're sold out. The bear claws have apple filling. They can also fill bars with creme if you ask for it. I've picked up mixed dozens for work several times and they're always a hit. They have a good variety of raised, cake, old fashioned, etc. They used to be cash only but they accept cards now.
