I am going to be very honest and unbiased. The atmosphere is really nice and the restroom door was a funny surprise (the refrigerator door) nice touch. They really need to divide the restaurant into two places. Add a divider so the customer doesn't see the other business (Michoacána) . I would try to add some maquinitas (games/board games. etc) just like what I used to play with my cousins in Mexico, if you want it to be a place where you want people to hang out and do some homework or just to have the chill vibe. I got the club sandwich, the torta and the cafe de la hoya con chocolate abuelita (cold). The presentation was good and the taste was good. I am constantly going to mexico on vacation and the cafe de hoya taste was on point. The torta was good (I received what I paid for) but the club sandwich was way better. The right quantity(I was full all day) and decent quality. Customer service from the employee (guy) on Tuesday morning was on point. Advise: Take care of your good workers because the number one rule of business is going to keep good employees and spot the bad ones. overall I gave you a 3 star for not dividing the business. Once you divide the business i can change...
Read moreI tried the mazapan iced latte, but it was disappointing. The espresso was super acidic and not very good quality. I had to throw it away when I got home, and it was $7.86! The service wasn’t great either. Usually, coffee shops are super friendly and have smiles. While I was waiting for my coffee there where four girls “working” more like gossiping between themselves. To paint the picture I was the only person being served on a Sunday afternoon. While my drink was being made I went to the other side (ice cream side) which one girl working and cashing everyone out as well she was a hustler. Then, it was my turn! I got a mangonada, it was prepared, paid for, and I still had time to sit down and wait for my coffee. The only reason I gave it a few stars is because my mom liked the mini pan dulce. It was a bit pricey, but she liked it. The place is also really pretty. I’ll go back someday when the memory of that acidic coffee leaves my mind, and see if the coffee...
Read moreAs a recent high school graduate and current college student, I’ve been exploring new spots to hang out, and I stumbled upon Con Azucar Cafe. Not too far from FCC and it’s seriously awesome! The decor is absolutely beautiful and gives off such a cool vibe. Every detail in the cafe, from the colors to the art, showcases an incredible pride in Mexican heritage. The food and drinks are presented so well. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care goes into everything they serve.
It's so inspiring to see that kind of representation and makes me very proud to have a cafe like this in our community. We should all be very proud.
Huge shoutout to the owners for opening up such a fantastic spot. I’ll definitely be coming back for more coffee, delicious food, and to soak up the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Plus, it’s a great way to connect with and appreciate some heritage.
In short, if you haven’t checked out Con Azucar Cafe yet, you’re...
