I have been coming to this place for years since before they moved to their current location from the day they opened at there location across from Sunnyside high school before they had even a table in that old location. I say that to say I have experienced a lot with this company and it's owners and workers. I would bring my grandmother and my mother and even bring family and friends here when they visited town. I didn't come for about 8months and already the people who work here forgot who I am my family and how to treat loyal customers. When I walked in I wasnt greeted even though the gentleman was close and saw me. Not only until I walked up to the register to order did he speak to me and only to ask if it was pick up or not. Didn't even say hello. Then after I ordered what I always order he told me they dont do it in that way and never have and instead of being nice he then went on to tell me how long he has worked here. And I told him I've been a customer since day 1 literally. This same man has helped me and my family many times and was very nice to always put a bit of extra care to our service and food without much try but this time he was rude short when speaking and spoke to me as if I was being rude to him. I simply smiled and said OK thank you and looked down. I was disappointed with his service and not helping me with anything but to yell out my order to the cooks. Smh. 😒 if I was his boss I'd be upset by the way he just brushed me off. As an Uber driver I tell lots of people about places to eat especially people who aren't from here and in business I tell people the same for buisness meetings or dinner ideas and now I'm not sure if I would even recommend this place. Is the food worth the rude ass service? If I had never been here before he wouldn't have known. There was no menus up to see what they have and he did not ask nor suggest any items just told me what he wasn't going to do and never will or have done. I was not pleased. My food was ok but not nearly as good as the many times before. And still when I was leaving even though I was being very respectful he and others were dry in their approach to me and other customers and just rude. Not pleased. Waste of money could've went to all of the other food places in the area that were cheaper and could've gotten better customer service. Btw what I asked him to do for me usually costs eclxtra I would've gladly paid but nope. No up sell here and no extra items...
Read morePrevious Review: Really awesome and spacious place, friendly folks and delicious food. I like the fact that they always have the NBA and NFL network on their big screens, it makes waiting for your food a little more enjoyable.

I had previously given this establishment a 5 star but their quality of service has gone down drastically. We used to order fresh catfish there for our family of 8. We have been doing it consistently for a few weeks, but now I've noticed that the quality of fish has gone down drastically. In fact, their catfish does not taste like catfish at all, as if it is a totally different fish. Also they have driven the price per pound outrageously.
I don't know if it is to save money or take advantage of customers by making a profit selling a lower quality of fish at a higher price, perhaps it may be both 🤔
Anyway I am very disappointed in my last experience and will not be returning to this...
