Douggy Fresh Pizza — Restaurant in Fresno

Updating my review on 7/8/25 after not having been here in about a year.

Douggys fresh pizza ranks up in my top 3 pizza places in Fresno. They have darn good prices and they produced a PIPING HOT, TOPPING LOADED, EXCELLENT COUPLE PIZZAs for me and my family. I remember that even when we've gone in the past and just ordered a couple $7.99 (5.99 back then, but still a great deal) single toppings pepperoni they have put the PERFECT amount of pep and cover it with perfect amount of cheese! It's not often that I am satisfied with pizza places as consistently as I have been with douggys fresh.

We fed my family of 6 (4 kids under 12yrs two adults) with two pies and had a little left over. Got the family economy deal 1 five toppings large and 1 single toppings pep with a 2 liter for 29$! Good deal!

And I'm sure that we will be coming back more consistently again in the future! Places like me n eds have been a complete WASTE of money lately for us with inflated prices, cold pies, and undercooked toppings and have left a bad taste in our mouths for franchise pizzas.

My money's going to mom n pop pizza shops like Douggys from now on. Thanks for the awesome dinner guys,...

Their pizza is AMAZING! I grew up eating Pizza Factory and I like to say they’re both very similar in regards to quality and taste. I’ve lived near this little spot for years and feel terrible that I slept on something so good. The quality of their cheese is amazing, that’s the first thing I can’t get over, it’s rich and chewy whereas I find other places using cheese that’s really waxy and greasy. They also layer their cheese OVER the usual toppings, which I really appreciated because 1.) your toppings aren’t slipping off 2.) that first bite feels so good biting into a generous layer of cheese and 3.) the toppings bring you a surprise with each bite-not to mention, the toppings don’t burn which means I don’t end up with the roof of my mouth feeling raw.

Maybe some folks might think I’ve being finicky, but I honestly appreciate their twist on toppings as someone who’s a little more sensory-conscious(?). The bread and sauce are also pretty yummy! Excited to be neighbors and...

My. Word. The pizza in my area is nothing like this gem of a place. The crust was right, not too heavy or thin, cheese wasn't overpowering everything and the chicken wings. Oh. The chicken wings. Try them just regular without hot sauce, ranch or bbq on the side. Perfect. Same for the cheese bread, all real ingredients.

Douggy Fresh Pizza holds the winners cup in my life experience book, for w reasons: 1. I have consumed a merciless amount of pizza in my life and of them all in my 30+ years this is THE BEST I've ever had. 2. Zero indigestion, zero acid reflux or heartburn, and less grease with better ingredients than Little Caesar's.

The owner delivered the food himself, and what a King. Friendly, funny, on time, and with a big smile. I moved away from Fresno county over 1 year ago and Mr. Lee made me feel at home where I had minimal bearings.
