Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Fresno

This happened last Saturday 08/27/2023 @7:30-7:40am and forwarded the following experience to the corporate email: I was the second car in line, from the window and when the cashier handed the car in front of me their drinks, the cashier did look and see (me) that there was another car in the drive thru (there was no outdoor runner taking orders, apparently you have to order at the windowat this time of the morning). So I get to the window to give my order and not only was I ignored for a couple of minutes, but I had to sit in my car waiting while the cashier (blonde girl) and two other workers (two dark haired girls - both well within view of seeing a car sitting at the window) were busy gossiping and laughing about another co-worker instead of attending to YOUR customer. Tired of waiting for your staff to do the job they are hired to do (provide a great customer experience and TAKE A DRINK ORDER), I drove off and took my $35 family drink order across the street to Starbucks.

This is not the first time I've had a terrible experience with this location. It's the closest location to me and in the past, I've just let it go because of this convenience but honestly, I'm done with this store.

If the intent of Dutch Bros. is to ignore the very resource that keeps your business going, then great. If Dutch Bros. is fine with losing money to a competitor, then keep hiring the unprofessional front facing staff I experienced this morning. If you feel this complaint is unfounded, I'm sure this store has plenty of cameras. Check the time in question - to see what your employees were doing instead of helping a customer.

There is a tremendous opportunity to coach your inexperienced and tacky cashier and staff at this location on how to treat customers with a friendly acknowledgement and being respectful. I, however, will not be coming back...

Okay let's get to the point. The coffee isnt what I'm ranking it with only 3 stars. The coffee is rated 5 for sure. What I rated 2 stars for is the drive thru. The drive thru is Terrible. The way you have to park in the parking lot and the line where tons of other people can cut you is a bit ridiculous. If it wasn't for that I would rate it much higher.

**Alright... it's been a few years, and the line for the drive thru has gotten better, BUT oh God. The drink system is Sooooo confusing... I just want my rebel tea.....is that so hard to ask? I usually order a medium rebel black tea with more rebel than tea mango flavor and watermelon flavor. Thats it. No other questions. I was told today depending on how many shots of rebel they put into the tea it's an extra dollar a shot 🙃 what? That's the first I've ever heard of that... and so... what's the standard amount of shots of rebel then? 2 shots? 3? Because if I ask for 5 shots the the normal amount is 2 then I have to pay an extra 3 dollars for 3 more shots.... please 🙏 just make it simple. Unless otherwise specified, you guys should have to ask how many shots unless asked. The normal should be 3 or 4 and unless they want more I would charge more if the customer asks.

DONT MAKE IT COMPLICATED! You aren't...

One of the GREATEST coffee shops to hit Fresno! Too bad we don't have one in my hometown of Visalia. Starbucks killer anyone!? I think so! The drink selection is so extensive it's impressive! When we arrived in the drive thru a sweet girl with a tablet was there to take our order, the window girl was rocking the drinks out and getting the customers out faster then I've ever seen! Our order taker really was so helpful and sweet! We told her we were first timers and she made some great suggestions as well as breaking down the menu for us. Did you know the Medium size drink here is the same size as a Venti drink at Starbucks!? 24oz! That's insane and cheaper then the global drink chain! This place was so rocking! I got the "aftershock" lemonade which had an assortment of flavors, my wife got a blended drink that had pomegranate and mango but it was mixed with an energy drink they have and it definitely kept her awake for the drive home lol. We made sure to get a "punch card" so next time we come back we can collect enough to get a free drink. Do yourself a favor and go to the location on Palm next to the Walmart! Will be coming...
