UPDATE MAy 7/24 THE OWNER WAS LETTING A CHILDSIH GIRL SPEAK OVER HER WHEN SHE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT WE MADE BUSINESS WITH FOR THE CAKE WE HAD ORDERED WHICH WAS TOSSED IN THE TRASH SHE OFFERED CREDIT AND THATS FINE BUT APON LEAVING A HONEST REVIEW ! my husband ordered a a 3 leches cake ! My husband and daughter went and got a cake from here yesterday for my birthday. I dont ever get cake from anywhere else, but WholeFoods, but they don't know that as they are new to this town so they decided to get it from here. When I went to eat the cake, you can tell the frosting had been sitting on the cake for more than a few days. If you had cake sit out for a week or so, you will know what I mean. It becomes this sticky, rubbery feeling. When I proceed to eat the inside, it was dry and stale, again, as if the cake had been sitting out for a while. I wanted to return the cake, but my husband already threw it in the garbage. I'm not sure how much was this cake. Maybe $35-$45? It was red/ pinkish, maybe 8 Inch round cake with 3 or so layers? Never had issues with their cakes until now. When I arrived at scheduled pickup, they stated they hadn’t started and to give them 20 minutes. The cake was supposed to be a wedding cake. Initially they added a “Happy Birthday” topper rather than the original one requested (“Nuestra boda”-it was on the receipt) The cake was not layered right. It was melting. The bling ribbon wasn’t equally rounded/matching; you can tell better by zooming on the pictures. It was extremely obvious.
