Update six months later: After numerous emails from corporate I was told the local restaurant would make it right. I never received any contact from the local restaurant even after calling several times and leaving messages asking a manager to call me back. For $13 McDonald's has lost a customer forever.
My wife and I were on our way back to Modesto from Nevada on 2/4/22 and stopped for a quick dinner a little before 7:00 PM. When we went in we wanted to use the bathrooms but we had to order first because bathrooms are for customers only. I ordered at the kiosk because there are usually fewer mistakes than ordering from the cashier. After ordering it took nearly ten minutes for them to open the bathrooms. They finally let us use them after I threatened to pee in a corner. After we used the bathrooms we were waiting on our food. Then we were asked if we wanted to order something and I told them I had ordered at the kiosk. She said there was no order. Then she asked for my receipt which I wasn’t given. The kiosk did not print one. I showed the charge in my bank account on my phone but that didn’t help. I was basically called a liar and stolen from by these employees. I never did get my food but the charge still shows on my account. I wouldn’t eat here if it was free. I’ve also contacted McDonalds corporate to see what they plan on doing. If I don’t get satisfaction I will definitely escalate this. It’s too bad a small group of low IQ workers can have such a huge impact on the quality of service a company provides. Or in this case...
Read moreI had the worse experience. Myself n severaln8ther people were left to sta n d in line for 10 minutes or more. We ask 2 different people for help to no avail. When someone finally answered us her response was I know but I have 6 orders I have to do first. This is unacceptable, it's bad enough the prices have sky rocketed, families can't even count on this place which use to be affordable to feed their families at a cost they can afford. I walked out and was left feeling like my order didn't matter because I'm elderly and didn't use their kiosk, go thru the drive thru or Place my order by mobile phone. There was a large number of workers behind that counter yet we were treated like we were not even there. How hard would it have been for one of them to come to that register. You need s upgrade Mc Donald. Do like Taco bell and post someone at your kiosk to help place order. So done with mc Donald.
