Drove through and remembered why I stopped coming to this location. Typically my household enjoys McDonald's and we don't have a problem. Unfortunately this location has consistently provided the worst customer service I've ever had at any McDonald's and I don't think my order's been right one time. I've watched DoorDashers come back in and hand them back the wrong order with bags open and them hand the bag over to another Dasher, opened. Yes you heard that correctly. That's horrible. I've watched people from the drive-thru lineup inside because their order was never brought out to them and the order is sitting there on their back counter. They seem incredibly unorganized. My main concern though would be management. The manager who works overnights I don't know her name but she's a horrible person. She's turned a blind eye to my concerns several times . This morning in particular I'm working overnights and drove through the drive-thru for my free cookies for the surveys on the receipt and realize I had to drive through a broken sprinkler. Didn't want to have to get out of my car in the middle of the night to dry it but I need my car for work. She just turned her head and told me next time I'm going to ask for more than one cookie let her know. What the hell? Another time in the middle of the night I brought it to her attention that there were some sketchy people hiding behind her drive-thru and coming up to cars once we turn that corner and she denied that it was happening. Told me I had to roll my window down at the drive-thru next time before I got to the window. I told her absolutely not if there's somebody standing in my car. Again she denied that there's anyone back there and laughed off. Completely unacceptable for McDonald's and in my experience not typically a McDonald's experience in general. There was no one at ours for a short while, but we thought, 'alright, maybe it's simply because they're helping the other line'. The other person in the other line finished, and we waited- and waited. A second car that came after us came and went. It was then that we finally got someone at the speaker, but they said to wait a minute. Alright. 'Two' other cars then passed by in the other lane, so we just decided to skip it and drive through the rest of the way since we didn't want to wait anymore, [since it had been about fifteen minutes there already]. There's no way to get out of the line though when you're past that point. Quite a few of the cars behind were getting out of line; I'm guessing also because of the wait. So we had to wait another ten minutes just to get through. And the person I was with stopped at the window to ask what had happened for the wait, if it was the person in front or what. Granted, I did tell her to just drive through, not worth it. But I was a bit taken back when the employee told her to basically drop it and tell what our order was. Mind that the girl I was with, though confrontational, wasn't saying it in a harsh way (honestly, neither the staff, but abruptly shutting down a valid question and snapping to a different topic was off putting). Read moreI ordered through the app and used my rewards. The app charged me $2.17. When they handed me the receipt, however, I was charged $6.06. The lady helping me called the manager and he had immediately the worst attitude, as if we were trying to cause problems. He said there was nothing he could do about that, that he has no control about what the app does, and that we should call the number on the receipt, which is fine. At that point, we had not even get to the second window to get the food yet, so I asked if he could cancel and he rudely said no, that he can’t cancel an order once it’s been paid for(?), seemed very confused as to why we wanted to cancel the order, and still wanted us to go to the second window, pick up the food and then call the number for a refund. We did call the number, even though we didn’t wanna take the food since it made no sense to eat it, and the lady said she wasn’t sure why he said he couldn’t cancel, but told us to call the number on the app. So we call the number on the app, and it was already closed for customer service. So here we are 2h later trying to still get that money back because of his laziness and overall incompetence, trying to save his time while compromising ours.
