Me-n-Ed's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Fresno

Just moved back to the area. Walked around looking for a place to have a beer, watch some sports, have some food. Lots of places to eat in the area but I decided on Me N Ed’s. I walked in, saw a bar and women’s softball playing on the TV. That’ll do! I sat down at the bar and heard someone at the register saying “Excuse me.” I wasn’t sure they were talking to me. “EXCUSE ME! Can I help you?!”

Oh… they WERE talking to me. “Yeah just came in for a beer… some food”

“You what?”

“A beverage… some food”

Young woman comes all the way around “sorry I couldn’t hear you”.

“Yeah just came in for a beer… some food if that’s okay”

“You have to order at the counter”

“Yeah thank you” and I just left. Now I’m not disagreeing with their policies or way of ordering a beer. I understand this isn’t some dive bar, I saw barstools and sat right in front of the beer taps and TV. That was my misconception and that’s okay, that’s my fault. My issue is that none of this encounter made me feel welcome in any way. This is not the type of environment I’d like to spend my time in. Again… I’m okay with ordering at the counter. It’s just even the last part she told me could have been a bit nicer, kinder, more welcoming. Like damn eff me for walking in here huh? I just went to the Sushi spot next door and was met with absolute and complete hospitality. So thank you Me N Ed’s for showing me the complete...

This was hands down one of the WORST pizza experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered a 3-topping pizza, and what I got was pathetic: barely any sausage, the pepperoni was practically raw and soggy, and overall it looked like someone sprinkled scraps on bread and called it a pizza.

When I called, the girl who answered admitted I could get a refund. Then Alex got on the line and things went downhill fast. He was rude, dismissive, and flat-out awful to deal with. He even mocked me about wanting Ernie’s number and then refused to give it out. That’s not customer service — that’s arrogance.

And I’m not the only one. Other reviews show the exact same issues: burnt crusts, missing toppings, raw bacon, rude staff, excuses about delivery, and pizzas so bare people compare them to “bread with sauce.” And yet they still have the audacity to charge nearly $26 for this garbage. Twenty-six bucks for bread with sauce and a sprinkle of mystery toppings? That’s insulting.

Management clearly doesn’t care. Every response is the same lazy copy-and-paste “sorry, call us” with zero accountability. Nothing changes, nothing improves.

Their customer service skills are about as good as their pizza — absolutely terrible. Save your money and your sanity. Gas station pizza would have...

This is in Reaction to the Action

I have been going now, a Half Century, and Never been treated like a Thief, for simply pointing out an Error on my Order.

Rather than getting my usual order, I was charged for Something I Did Not Order !!! When I tried to bring this Error to the Staffs attention;

The Middle Aged Pizza Maker Bit my Head Off and Scolded Myself for Not Making A Web Order.

When I got my Pizza and Refund, with a Lousy "Sorry", I realized the Middle Aged Pizza Maker Shorted Me; and Charged me Full Price !!!

When I asked Why, He got Snotty, and Dismissed my Complaints With His Speaking Down to a Child Attitude,

It Took him 3 times to get the Correct Refund!!!!!
